Best place in town for a quality haircut and amazing price. Been coming to Brandi for 3 years now and the few times in that span I went somewhere else my hair was honestly awful. I consider myself a picky costomer and my hair is complicated, sometimes a Mohawk, short military cut, or my church hair hair cut as we call it. Love the service, they really know their hair and that is why I’m always coming back to get CHOPPED. I’m 21 their trends are up to date I get alot of looks and compliments on my fresh cuts. Been to 2 barbers in the area OVERPAID and went to Brandi to get fixed up within a days span.

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for about 3 years. That have always done a great job on my hair and they are always friendly. They also offer to do trims for free when my neck hair gets a little overgrown between cuts.

In a rush, this Edward hopper lonely almost abandoned looking 1950’s storefront redux screamed old school charming with a splash of scary, but I took a gamble. «Walk in?» One blunt barberette stoically saluted me with a well suited small town country charm. «Yeah.» I took a purposeful seat. Lucky me, the laid back and friendly owner offered me a seat in her chair. «You’ve been here before right?» She welcomed me with bonus assuredness. «No just visiting.» I risked, as we began an easy convo about the unseasonably sunny Portland weather and the city’s growth. «I’ve owned and operated this shop for 20 years, so I’ve seen the city change.» Her easy style must be a big hit with the neighborhood locals. I got a quick trim, that was fast efficient and just under $ 20. «When you come back to Portland, get your haircut here.» She smiles, made me feel as comfy as a hometown Texas picnic. This old school no frills barber shop is clean and efficient, even suited for an out of town traveler. Takes appointments and walk ins.

Recommended by a colleague who used to live in the area. 20 some odd years later, still getting fantastic cuts. Long term family business, unpretentious, good price, cut hair, not just trying to look hip. They know what they are doing. Men: ask for the Air Force Officer if you want just short enough.

I’ve been to 4 different places for my last 5 haircuts, and I haven’t been satisfied with any of them. A friend recommended this place and I’m happy he did. I can finally say I got a perfect cut. I will recommend to friends as well.

Have been getting my hair cut here since 1985 — almost 27 years — moved out of town 12 years ago and will still travel over 20 miles. Top notch«old-fashioned» type service from the most personable barbers I know.
