Hd Mobile Detailing

A long overdue revision. Shortly after posting my original review, I was finally able to schedule my car detailing with HD Mobile Detailing. They did a good job and a was completely satisfied with the detailing job.

Buyer Beware — I bought a LivingSocial voucher to have my car detailed. 6 months later, 3 no-​shows for appointments they scheduled with me, and a multitude of calls not returned (even when I have spoken with someone), I still have not gotten any service from them.
They get a single star only because it is required.
And don’t be fooled, they have 2 listings in Unilocal with different addresses (the other is 5219 Se Henry St) and different phone # ((800) 398‑2275).

I purchased a deal for HD Mobile and was looking forward to convenience and professionalism. I experienced neither. I called to book my first appointment and found the soonest appointment was two MONTHS out. Alex arrived at my house and offered to add on scratch removal service but said it would require rescheduling the appointment — 3 weeks later; however I agreed. I had to travel for work so rescheduled — another 2 months wait. Just prior to my new appointment, my car was broken into. Alex told me they wanted to reschedule to avoid water damage. Three week later he called to say they would charge me $ 50 for rescheduling (?) even though it was rescheduled at their discretion. When I resisted, he said I should just take my business elsewhere. After the frustration and unprofessional conduct, I’m happy to go elsewhere but others be warned of doing business with HD Mobile Detailing.

I bought a LS deal but I didn’t get the service —
My first appointment didn’t happen because my work does not allow car wash in its parking.
My second time — I had to reschedule because I was out of town for work.
My third time, they scheduled me on ¹¹⁄₂₈ — Black Friday. I even asked them if they are really working on Black Friday, and they said yes. I waited… waited… no one showed up. I called several times, no one answered and no one called me back. Later on, when I called, they said they didn’t work on ¹¹⁄₂₈ and the person who took my appointment was incorrect. He didn’t even say sorry.
My fourth try — I was home waiting from 7 am. No one showed up and I noticed that they put their business cards on my door and my car. They DID NOT knock the door, DID NOT ring the bell, or DID NOT call my cell phone to let me know that they are here. Now HD Mobile is saying I need to pay additional $ 85 to get service, and they said they knock the door. But they did not. Such a liar. I am so not happy.

I bought a living social voucher: «$ 139 for $ 299 detailing.» When they showed up they told me they were going to wash and wax my car with one coat of wax and shampoo the carpets. I called the company and told them I’d paid for a complete detail with a value of $ 299 and what these guys were going to do was a «wash and wax» not a «detail.» He agreed and told me if I wanted the «full package» he would «give me a deal» and only charge me $ 85 more… I looked on the company’s website and it says that a «complete detail» is $ 179. So now they wanted to charge me a total of $ 214 for a $ 179 detail, not $ 139 for a $ 299 detail. I didn’t take that offer. When they finished the wash (and presumably waxing) and quickly left there were streaks of mud on the top of the car and a couple of small chunks of mud stuck to the body in a couple of places which I had to clean up myself. Inside there where places that were completely untouched and still dirty that I had to clean myself. They had said they were going to clean and condition the seats but I saw absolutely no evidence of that. In fact, there was some white residue from a package I’d had in the back seat that I noticed was still there after the «cleaning» and I had to clean that off myself too. Strangely, they jacked up my trunk lock somehow and left it open (so it wouldn’t close properly.) Since I’m not a complete moron, I was able to fix the trunk lock in about 2 seconds but there was still water sprayed inside my trunk and all over everything. So I got a poorly done, $ 50, wash and wax on my car and had to finish even that myself… basically these guys gave me a glorified carwash I didn’t want and –even if I had wanted it– stole something like $ 89 from me. anyone know where I can get my car detailed.

I used the Living Social deal to get my car detailed. The gentleman showed up with his dog and proceeded to let him do his business off leash in our neighbors yard. Not impressed. He also raced through the detailing and left things undone. I still have wax in several places on my car and the product he used to detail the lower portions of my outback left oily patches. Not pretty. The inside was pretty good except the front window was not very clean and had wipe marks all over. Won’t do that again.

Beware. The people who cleaned my car did fine with the cleaning but knocked a piece out of place that caused damage to my convertible top. It cost me over $ 1000 by the time it was repaired. I talked to the manager who basically accused me of lying but said he would talk to the owner and get back to me. NO RESPONSE. He was very defensive and unprofessional. He was also reluctant to give me the owner’s name. There is no way to contact him. Can’t recommend.

I bought a livingsocial deal for this company and had the service done today. The gentleman who did my interior/​exterior detail was right on time, and my car looks fantastic. I will definitely be using this company in the future.
