Hancock Park is an undistinguished neighborhood place. It is very beautiful, but it isn’t that big. There is a playground. Evergreens dot the landscape. For a few minutes, I felt as if I were in a forest. This is not a bad park, but there is no need to make a trek out to visit it. The atmosphere may allow for some contemplation, but with so many other parks, I only plan to go again if I so happen to find myself living nearby. Skip this if you reside more than ten blocks away.
