Half Pint

Bought a few purses today and was really happy with their used leathergoods selection. 2 beautiful leather bags for under $ 80 dollars is amazing. Stop by often to check out availability. Knowledgeable about care and restoration. They also seemed to have great show selection as well for those interested. Definitely stop by when you shop the area.

This is boot heaven! I scored absolutely beautiful knee high, black leather boots for $ 45! They are soft as butter and look expensive as fuck! I also scored my daughter an adorable little brown leather vest for $ 20 that will amp up the cuteness in her next horse show and guaranteed get her another blue ribbon. In fact, the kids section is worth the trip here alone and if we weren’t already stocked up on boots, I would have bought my daughter MANY pairs. The owner obviously has amazing taste and some kind of crazy black market underground boot connection because I cannot believe the quality, quantity and value of the boots here. Good thing we were only visiting because Half Pint would be my habit!

I came to Portland to visit my aunt and uncle and I was SO delighted to stumble into a secondhand leather store dedicated to quality and lightly used leather goods! The prices are fantastic!
I love leather, especially secondhand leather! I don’t really believe in «vegan leather» because the plastics used in the production of vinyl and polyurethane products tend to release all sorts of nasty compounds into the air and puts workers exposed to these substances at risk (not to mention into the greater atmosphere). Leather is able to last practically forever if maintained with love and is timeless, if designed simply. I think this is one of the more environmentally responsible materials out there, especially if bought used.
I bought myself a lovely backpack for $ 28 from this store! It’s about the size of a standard backpack, has a zillion pockets, YKK zippers (all you detail-​oriented people out there understand me), and plenty of reinforcements (sewn and rivets)! It’s quite fashionable AND it’s practical! It even has a bit of wear on the leather, so it looks «broken-​in.» I’ve already gotten a few compliments on it! If I lived within Portland, I would probably risk buying a house full of leather boots and bags.
There is a $ 10 dollar bin full of more «loved» leather bags.
I’m kinda kicking myself for not purchasing a pair of tall black boots while I was there, because I realized, after getting back to California, that I need a pair of professional-​looking winter boots for my upcoming internship! D’oh.
I’m not sure how the owner keeps the prices so reasonable, but as a university student, I really appreciate it!

This cute store is filled with leather purses and boots to die for! The owner has such a keen eye for detail it reminds me of the LA flea market booths with all the same variety — love their new location.

Half Pint is a cool little «Kicker» Store that features used western-​style boots and accessories. They have a very nice and well organized selection, over a wide variety of sizes, with reasonable prices, and in a nice laid back atmosphere.

A fantastic selection of super duper cheap cowboy boots, tooled leather belts, and vintage bags. I got a pair of black zodiac (late 1980s) cowboy boots for 37 dollars. They are adorable as all get out and comfy but after two months of mild wear, the sole was loose and flapping in the wind. I had them repaired at a cost of 40 dollars BUT 77 bucks for cute vintage boots is still reasonable.
The western style belts here are just grand: I bought a chocolate one ornamented with silver native American animals for about 15 bucks. Next time I drop by here I’m picking up one of the delectable bags. Half Pint rocks.

This store is amazing! Affordable prices and shoes are in great condition. The store is super cute inside and I have a hard time just buying one pair at a time. Best place to buy western shoes and handbags. A+

I can’t believe how many good boots this store has! They had just what I was looking for. I bought a beautiful vintage pair of boots for $ 40. I visited the store twice within a couple of weeks. They seemed to have a whole new selection the second time I went. They seem to have a high volume of quality boots coming in and going out regularly. Love it!

Such a great shop specializing in one of my favorite things: leather boots. Half Pint is a niche shop with a huge selection of vintage/​used boots, bags, and accessories. And when I say niche, I am referring to the unbelievable prices for some amazing quality pieces. I got one of my favorite pair of leather ankle boots here, broken in and just perfectly worn, for under $ 30. I want to say they were $ 24 bucks or something. I also got this rad leather portfolio/​messenger bag that I always get compliments on.
It’s all arranged by size, so it’s easy to shop for what you’re looking for. Definitely stop by here if you’re in the neighborhood or make a point to visit if it’s out of your way.

Well organized, great prices, and chock full of used leather bags, belts and boots. The three B’s — it doesn’t get any better that this! I actually giggled with excitement when I walked in and saw the racks of boots.
I’ll definitely be dropping by every time I’m in the neighborhood. Even if I don’t buy anything, this place will make me happy.

The owner was a sweetheart and welcome me and my friend. My friend got a sexy pair of black boots. there wasn’t anything for me at that time, but the owner said sh gets new boots every two weeks!!!

This place is a hidden gem. I always take friends and out of towners here, and someone always walks out with a great purchase. Vintage leather is usually either way over priced or not in good condition, not here! Prices are good and so is the selection, I hope it stays that way.

Holy crap this place rocks! I ran into a gal a few weeks ago that had on a really cool pair of vintage granny boots. She told me about Half Pint. I wandered in yesterday and I was just in heaven ! Vintage boots, bags and other ephemera that must be seen, smelled and touched.
It is awesome just to think of all the floors, fights and dance halls these many pairs of boots have seen. The gal that helped me had a fun, sweet vibe (Hi R!). I only spent ten bucks but scored a gently used pair of Sam & Libby faux snakeskin ankle boots. Shit sons & daughters get outta Anthropology/​Free People and get your butt over here!

I stumbled across Half Pint while walking around the area that Red Fox Vintage is at. I had a little time to pop in before my bus came, so I gave it a go. I loved it!
I have never come across a shop that specializes solely in vintage leather goods. It smelled delightful in there (like leather, obviously) and everything was in nice condition and very reasonably priced! There were even a few bins with ‘Everything $ 5′ marked on them. I asked about a couple of items I had been looking for and was told that they would probably have lots of them soon. The inventory is massive! I’ve hardly ever seen space utilized as well as it is in Half Pint.
The woman who was working there was extremely nice and knew her stuff, for sure.
There are some real gems at Half Pint. Boots… bags…belts…wallets, just get yourself in there and look around!
