i go here every 2 weeks and i love it. the ladies are really nice and most of all they are very appreciative. best 9 $ haircut you can find. not sure about womens cuts but mens cuts are great

Kim is awesome! I’ve taken my son there for years. Just started taking my daughter there this year and got fantastic hi lights. This is my first review on Unilocal but felt I had to post due to the negative feedback. I’ve had nothing but great haircuts with Kim.

If you want a descent hair cut, or at least get it styled the way you want it, do not go to Hairdo USA.
I actually frequented this place for quite some time and while I was a college student I’d go to this place to get my hair cut. Reason being, as a broke college student, a $ 9.00 haircut seemed quite appealing to me. There is also one lady (I don’t know her name) that does a descent job cutting hair.
I stopped going here after I had 2 horrible hair cuts in a row. The first was time was just a poorly done haircut and noticed parts being uneven when I got home. The second time was worse. I walked in to some young looking lady who looked like she was taking a nap. She shot up immediately after I walked in, and I was disappointed to see the lady I know that cuts well wasn’t in. I grew out my hair for several months as I wanted it to be long and have a certain style to it, and after explaining what I wanted, she just cut away with no mercy. Each time I thought she would stop and just adjust the evenness, she would go even shorter. I left pissed and will never be back.
The guy that works here is strange. He will sit you down, hold a pair of scissors in his hand and pretend like he can cut hair, until one of the ladies are ready then he’ll have them take over.
Oh, and I feel like they don’t even listen to you or what you want like 70% of the time. They ask you what you want, and nod their head and agree before you’re done talking.
Spend more money and go to a better place.

Nothing special, but a bunch of woman that can freshen you up very quickly. It is a hit an miss on how well you will look after your $ 9 cut. I however now know what days the gal I like works and get the cut I want. The only downside is the language barrier can be big when small talk begins.

I did not like my last hair cut from this place. I wanted a fade and I believe my exact words for the top were, «leave the top, but clean it up». Apparently she took that to mean, «you want a crappy faux-​hawk looking thing, I’ll chop an inch and a half off the top.» I did not want it to look anything resembling a faux-​hawk…
There goes my goal of having Justin Beiber hair. *Sigh…

No frills here. But I’m a simple guy with pretty simple hair, so what do I care? I’ve been going to this place since I moved to Southeast and am overall very pleased. There’s almost never a wait. I get in and out in about 8 – 15 minutes for $ 8+tip. They usually just have a movie or a Friends DVD on the TV, which makes time fly by even more quickly (and without any awkward conversation).
