Great selection of happening craft beverages. Located right inside the Garden Home Thriftway. Take in your growler to fill up or sit and drink a beer. Allen, the owner, is very knowledgeable and sociable. The other bartenders are great also. Wish I could give it 6 stars. Cheers!

Unilocal deleted my last review under assumption I had worked or was working here. I do not and will never. Best selection of beers and ciders on tap in Garden Home. Hands down. In a small intersection, where only two bar options are available within a stones throw or walking distance of most homes in the area. There is now a THIRD! It’s now my favorite place to drink a beer. Also, the only place you can find revolving taps weekly. If you like something, you had better drink up! Or get a growler filled to go. Which are only $ 5 or $ 6 bucks, depending on size you decide on. With a wide selection of mainly Oregon brews, there is still quite a few from other parts of the country on the reg as well.

This location is great. I can do my shopping at Lambs, get my liquor from their liquor store(open on Sundays) and get my choice beer in a growler here. Win win win! They don’t usually carry the darkest beers(10%+) but they’ll usually have a 9%+ or three, and always have something I like. The staff is friendly, and knows their beer. Very easy to talk to, non-judge mental, and good conversation no matter the topic. I would highly suggest stopping in and giving this place a shot. Lambs is very good as well, and carries a lot of specialty items. It’s encouraged here to enjoy eating anything from lambs’ fine deli here while you enjoy a brew. They have a nice big screen TV and aren’t picky what you watch. They let me watch the horse races one time, which usually isn’t a preferred TV pick at a places. All in all, try out garden home growlers. They are worth their salt when it comes to brews.

this place rules. the grocery store sucks. high prices — no u-scan. okay, they have good produce, meats, bakery, and wine selection. my destination was: Garden Home Growlers. i walked in the entrance on the right, closest to the Dugout(?), anyway, every seat was taken. so I did some obligatory shopping. 20 beers & cider on tap, 2 kombuchas and a rootbeer. you can sit down and have a pint. I’ve never filled a growler in my life, so I don’t care about that part, but plenty of folks were. You can watch a little tele, chat with the guy next to you. Exceptional service and tap line up. Great work. Another bonus, they issued me a punch card, I imagine I’ll get an award after 10 or so pints. I had the BreakSide IPA and followed it up with the ExNovo Eliot IPA. 5 bucks each. They guys that work there are fun to chat with… but you don’t have to. It’s a cool atmosphere. I won’t shop here at the store, but I’ll be back for a sit down beer.
