An insurance company is best judged not when they sell you a policy, but when you file a claim. Fullerton utterly failed the test. We’d been dutifully paying our insurance premiums for 8 years and filed our first claim, and it was very small. The first email back from their VP was an attempt to deny coverage and blame us for the denial because we hadn’t registered that particular remote office address. The problem was that we HAD registered it over a year earlier, and readily provided documentation to that effect. Their VP never responded after that, they quietly paid the claim and never apologized for their false accusations and slimy attempt to avoid coverage. Oh, and to top it off, we discovered they had never updated our main office address either, even though they had visited it multiple times. This was a major omission on their part and could have resulted in a catastrophic loss that the carrier could technically have declined, forcing us to sue Fullerton to recover our loss caused by their negligence. In short, they are a terrible agency and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
