This cart looked and smelled delicious and had a long line! All signs point to amazing food! I was pretty disappointed to find out they only accept check or cash after waiting in line for 25 minutes. I specifically looked for signs and none were visible. So, only having a debit card on me, I left even hungrier and disappointed that I couldn’t try this delicious food. I think an investment in a Square or some sign noting cash only would be worth it.

Since chipotle was closed, I decided to try something new. I went around 12:30 pm on a Friday with only 30 minutes to eat lunch. I ended up spending 20 minutes in line but was well worth the wait. I ordered the small chicken burrito with sour cream and hot sauce. The burrito was pretty large and filled me up for the whole day. Will definitely come back for another burrito. I will just have to remember to get cash out since they do not take cards.

Poor sanitary practices. I ordered a chicken burrito today and was dismayed to see the guy wrap up my burrito with his bare hands and then handle my money. I’m not convinced he washes his hands after handling the money, before making the next burrito. I ate the burrito, and it was fine… nothing spectacular… I figured if I can survive street food in developing countries I’ll be okay… but I won’t be returning to Fuego.

Good but nothing special. I don’t eat meat so my options were very limited. Had a burrito bowl which consisted of beans, rice, salsa, and sour cream. I added spinach. The beans and rice did have good flavor but would have liked some more veggies. The service was good and friendly would have likes to rate them higher.

I had a colleague bring some of these in for a meeting last week, and I have to say I loved my burrito. I just went and got another one, got it with chicken, habanero and the works. OMFG if I was on death row, this would be my last meal. I mean it.

The lady near REI was a total nightmare. Super rude, horrible personality, and simply a disaster. The worst example of someone in the retail industry.

i was looking for another food cart when i stumbled across this warm little stand. i proceeded to have one of the nicest interactions i’ve had with a stranger in a long time. the woman working was delightful and made my day. she also sold me a burrito for less than 7 dollars that was very tasty and must have weighed 3 pounds. good food and wonderful service.

Great burritos! Everyone in the entire office enjoyed their meals. Huge portions! The chicken burrito was big enough for lunch and dinner. Cash only.

I had the same experience as Shannon K. I was excited to find this cart because I really wanted some veggies for lunch and was tired of the usual Hawaiian fare that I get down the street. So I ordered a small veggie burrito bowl… Only to find out after she’d finished making it that there were no vegetables included in this meal whatsoever. Veggie Vegetable??? So I was going to pay I think $ 5.50 for a takeout container with just rice, beans, and sour cream. Oh and cheese that I paid $.50 extra for. And let’s not forget it’s drizzled in store-bought sauce out of a bottle! In the end I asked to have chicken added because I did not want to be hungry for the rest of the day but man that chicken was not exciting at all. Extremely disappointing and overpriced for the meal I got.

One of my all time favorite food carts, even before«food-carting» was popular. I was pleased to see Fuego at the Mississippi street fair!!!

The«veg» burrito has no vegetables. It’s beans and rice. When I asked about it while it was being made, the person working the cart said«menu says vegetarian, not veggie. sorry not MY fault» You can add spinach for 50 cents. I did that but it still had no taste. I guess I should have gotten chicken or some other sauce(I got mild salsa). Overall boring but I gave it 2 stars because it was only 6 bucks.

Delicious abd well priced. Cash only and they’re only open for lunches. Great spot for those of us that work across the street.

Carts are cash only, fill out your order slip and wait for your delicious burrito or bowl. The ingredient list is simple. The small burrito was extremely large, so the large burrito must be grotesque in size. Causes pleasurable food coma.

I am a regular customer at this fine food cart. I’ve been going to it for years and the consistency is amazing. Pretty healthy for you and quite the bargain! The chicken really has a great marinade. Only downside is the long lines during lunch and that you need cash.

The Fuego burritos are an affordable $ 5.75 lunch that will fill you up. The«small» is plenty of food, so I don’t pay extra for the«large». Something about the marinade on their chicken is absolutely delicious; I love it. The black beans are always cooked properly as is the rice. They have a nice array of extra sauces to add if you like. Regular or whole wheat tortillas are available. You can also get an open faced bowl. I have no idea if their ingredients are fresher and healthier than other places, but I sure don’t have that«gut bomb» feel when I’m finished, so I suppose it’s good for you. This is a better tasting burrito than Qdoba, Taco Del Mar, Mo’s, Taco Bell, or any other fast food other than Chipotle; though Fuego is a different flavor than Chipotle, so hard to compare. My only complaint is the wait you will endure if you show up at the wrong time(like noon). Even with 4 – 5 people in line, it can be a 15 – 20 minute wait, standing in line, to get your food.

one of my fav carts and have been going to various carts of Fuegos for more years than I care to admit to. I love them and I will hope they are around till I am dead. You walk up to the cart and are handed a pad with the order sheets on there. You circle the food you want and that is what you get. There is only a few items to chose from but that is what makes it so good. The chicken is crack and the real reason I go… I love the chicken which they grill right there so it is always fresh. It is all fresh and I just cant say enough except try them they are located everywhere… try one… mmmmmmmm crap… now I want one badly… grrrrrrrr

Ohmygod! Fuego burritos are absolutely sublime. Big-ass hippie-style burritos, big as your forearm. Some people make two meals out them. I crave these things. Pity the fool who doesn’t live or work near one of these bliss dispensaries. I even love the ritual. You slide on up to the cart. There’s a stack of order slips and a pencil, and you check off the stuff you want, like ordering a deli sandwich. The menu options are simple and fairly small, which is the genius of these carts. Large or small, veggie or chicken, whole wheat or flour tortilla, sour cream or yogurt, hot or mild salsa(or some hot shit they might have hiding back there). It’s on a foundation of brown rice and beans. You can add cheese and/or guac if you like. That’s it. That’s all you get to choose from. I don’t know what kind of mojo they sprinkle on these things, but they’re AMAZING! And I order a large. And aw hell, look, I went and ate the whole damn thing… again!

Delicious grilled chicken burritos. Generous portions. Made with love. A lunch full of supreme goodness! (my review is for the cart on SW2nd and Market)

I enjoyed the burrito I got today however it honestly wasn’t anything super exceptional. Today was the first time I got the sweet chili sauce and salsa, that was definitely a poor choice. I guess I relate the sweet chili sauce more with asian foods and not with Mexican. I probably would have liked it more w/out the sweet chili sauce. It was definitely good enough and I will definitely go back sometime. The one thing that is odd that I don’t get is why they say«Real Cheese» on the paper order form… There aren’t any other options and what would you be serving otherwise if it wasn’t real cheese?
