Super awesome, healthy bowls(or burritos) of goodness. Choose either chicken or veggies, with a load of beans, rice with all the toppings you’d want. Great price, quick, friendly and SO delish. Glad she’s only a short walk from the office. Why would you go to Chipotle’s? I’m SO confused. Come here instead, it’s only a couple blocks away!

Little food cart with a limited menu. Basically it’s a rice+bean burrito or bowl with either chicken or not, sour cream or yogurt, salsa or no. You can add spinach, guac, extra chicken, whole wheat tortilla, etc… for extra monies. $ 6 for a ‘small’ and $ 6.75 for a ‘large.’ A large is an extra scoop of rice, beans, and chicken, as far as I could tell. It wasn’t enormous but definitely wasn’t tiny — I’d say it was adequately sized for the price. Pretty tasty all together but not mind-blowing. It’s quick and easy and in a location where there’s not a lot of inexpensive lunch options so I’ll definitely give it more tries as time passes.

This is my favorite burrito I’ve ever had. I got a «small» and it was two full meals, they just completely load it up! Customizable, friendly service, quick, filling, and delicious. The ingredients were super fresh and distributed well in the tortilla. Cash only.

Amazing, well-priced, burrito. It’s a simple chicken, rice and beans style burrito, but so much more. Definitely my favorite burrito in the neighborhood. A perfect lunch-break grab-and-go.

Food cart on 12th/Johnson Huge Burritos for a really good price. Can get flour or whole wheat. Rice/Beans…usually go light cause I want extra meat which is juicy and tender. Only chicken is available. Extra hot sauce and salsa… I usually hold off on the cheese, sour cream, and guac. Soda/Water is $ 1.00 Quick fix for some major food.

The burritos are bigger and better than Chipotle, but of course, far fewer options. The only meat option is chicken, for starters. But as always, my vegetarianism means i get a plain old beans-and-rice burrito regardless of where i go. And for a beans-and-rice burrito, this was pretty good. Given the dearth of food carts in The Pearl, i’m glad the ones that do show up make good food. (I’m a little weirded out by their claim that ‘real’ guacamole is just 100% avocado paste, that things like onions or chilies would be ‘filler’. 100% avocado paste isn’t guacamole, it’s avocado paste. The stuff added into it is what makes it guacamole. In fact, if you google the definition of ‘guacamole’, you get this: «A dish of mashed avocado mixed with chopped onion, tomatoes, chili peppers, and seasoning.» So while i do appreciate a good dollop of avocado in my burrito, this acting like they’re somehow superior because they forgot all but one of the ingredients in their guacamole is just… strange.) (Also, if you’re a real stickler about cross-contamination, you might not want to eat here. I’ve seen the spoon used to glop the salsa onto a burrito come into direct contact with the chicken on said burrito. If that sort of thing upsets you, move along.)
