I’ve been coming here for years. My mom brought me here as a teenager and I’m still a customer now in my 30s. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They’re very knowledgeable about skin care and the products they sell and can tell you just what you need for your particular skin issues. Whenever possible they send you home with samples so you can test out a product first before having to buy it. They also do awesome facials. None of this comes cheap, but it’s well worth it.
The only reason I can’t give five stars is because of the inconvenient location. NW Portland is such a nightmare and I don’t like going there. I wish Faces Unlimited were located elsewhere in the city.

I will begin by saying this is absolutely my FAVORITE place to go for a facial. Lisha has been my aestetician for years now and I always leave with a fabulous face (and brows). The staff here are all very well trained in skin care as well as colors to assist you with cosmetic needs. I have had may experiences here — all very positive.
On my wedding day, I fell down 7 stairs and face planted on aggregate concrete. They knew exactly what to do here — they cleaned the abbrasions and applied liquid bandage on my face before applying any makeup or moisturizer. Any other place might have skipped these steps and I would have scarring from bacteria. I can say that the people at my wedding did not even know I had fallen until I told them, and later in the day as the swelling became more prominent. They completely saved my wedding day and my skin.
I have come in to Lisha presenting a weird reaction with a hive-​like appearance. She was able to soothe my skin and gave me instructions to continue to soothe the condition. It worked like a charm — and best of all — I didn’t need to slather a bunch of rx or take a ton. I felt so much better immediately after seeing her.
I have had makeup done here as well as my entire wedding party — have had my daughter’s colors done and makeup purchased here to ensure she is wearing the right colors so that her makeup is natural looing, but also good quality. It really is not any more expensive than what you buy at the department stores. Less than the mis-​matched cosmetics you buy and toss from drug stores.
These are just a few experiences, but I can tell you that the entire staff here is well versed, compassionate, and very friendly. They will remember you and what you need after a few visits. Pat Warren has been a prominent figure in Portland’s Fashion and Beauty scene for years. I grew up seeing her and have always valued her opinion and expertise.
There isn’t another place in Portland I would dream of going for my skin care needs.

i worked here a few years ago and during those two years, i got to learn a lot about skincare inside and out… it felt great whenever i could diagnose a skin disorder and be able to help treat it right away without sending our clients to a dermatologist… i strongly believe that aestheticians who know their stuff are way more important to have than a dermatologist… just think of it this way… would you rather have a regular doctor or a naturopathic doctor? regular doctors will usuall assume a diagnosis and then give you a prescription drug w/​o knowing for sure what they are treating… whereas a naturopathic doctor will run some tests on you so they can treat the problem from the inside out… a lot of people do not know this, but these analogies will hold true to my testimonial… pat warren who is the owner for faces unlimited is very knowledgable and will sit down and talk to you about whatever sklin problems you may have… yes, her schedule is completely booked, but she always manages to squeeze in few people… also lets not forget the other aestheticians also… they are trained very well under the supervision of ms. warren herself so they are very knowledgable as well! whats also great about this place is that you can come in and get free make up consultations… for instance, if you have a problem finding makeup that will match your true skin tone, they will help you with it and 99.9% of the time clients will walk out with a foundation for a low cost that will certainly match your skin tone! this beats going to your local drug store over and over again because the revlon foundation you bought didnt match your skin very well… and thats a very expensive way to shop for makeup! i also noticed, that the make up they do their is very natural and you wont have to worry about looking like drag queen when you walk out that door. i highly recommend this place if you have sensitive skin or if you want a nice facial… pedicures and manicures are done with care and in sanitary conditions! no fungus toes here! if you have a lil extra money to spend, they have some very nice european products you wont even find in nyc… they also do orders online if you arent able to get to portland as well as advice on what products may be suitable for your skin type…
