Never been a huge fan of Denny’s to begin with, but this one in particular tends to have very slow service and has an all around drab atmosphere…

OK where to start? First off its 9:30 a.m. and business is pretty slow… I counted 5 tables less than 11 customers, yet the waitresses and bussers have no sense of urgency nor do they seem to know what’s going on around them. Either oblivious to everything or they just don’t care… Oh!!! I finally just saw one waitress smile and greeted customers with some sense of happiness. 2. Staff tend to stand around and gossip too much. Like almost right in front of me… Keep in mind iv’e been in this Industry for 38 years. And worked in many different types of dining and atmosphere. Still there are just many common sense and obvious things you do in your work habits, tasks etc. A waitress or waiter should regularly make a sweep around their section with a coffee pot in hand and offer to top off… You should never go out on the floor or come back to kitchen EMPTIEDHANDED! Its a wasted trip. Also the MANAGER seemed disconnected from customers and staff. He sort of just wandered around accomplishing nothing. The 2 line cooks that I observed, seem to have more fun texting, and gossiping, standing around etc. Not constantly but they were just the same… At the very least, don’t do it where your customers can see it. OK enough of the staff. Next. I hadn’t been here in a long time and I knew it was remodeled. I was hopeful on improvements all around because this location really needed it badly. The remodel was reasonably nice. I would have rethought it better… Yet the place is already looking filthy and neglected. Several booths were neither cleaned or not cleaned well nasty finger prints and food on cushions, walls, Windows. When a waitress did sweep in JUSTHERSECTION, she did it half hearted. Plus twice she walked away to do nothing and left the broom and dust pan just sitting their for someone to trip over or bump into. WHY? THIS comes back to commen sense. I’ve been here almost 1 ½ hrs and my waitress came to my table twice. I got 1 refill of coffee because I got her attention when she finally looked at me. THEFOOD— was mediocre at best. Not bad, not great… More sad than good. Definitely forgetable. I’m by no means a pig. However portioning is skimpy And I do understand portion control and profit margins. I also know how you can utilize certain cheap products to enhance plate appeal. This is not The 70’s. Ditch the discusting dehydrated hash Browns that cook up liike dried match sticks. And considering I opted to pay 59 cents(odd retarded pricing). For the PREMIUM sausage… It was tiny. And gross, tasted odd, was spongy. Watery, clearly a frozen product… I would seriously thought after all these years that Dennys Would have figured this industry out and the importance of food product and quality by now. Clearly someone at the top of this company should be fired and bring in new eyes, blood. That has figured it out… I know it’s a Chain, but it could be sooo much better than others… Again, there’s a complete break down on every level here from décor, food, staff, training, etc… Eventually I may make it back and give it a try for lunch or dinner and see if it’s same or hopefully better. At least from the staff and food. BTW… The seriously only positive thing which ironically it was good for me but not from a business stand point, the premium sausage I ordered was Not on my bill The waitress did write it down and send it in with my order. It just wasn’t on my bill when I cashed out. I hope someone from within the chain sees this and At least uses it as an opportunity to improve. I rarely write reviews but felt this was needed Not to blindly bash but to open their eyes and improve upon. Good luck!!!

So, its Denny’s, what can one say about a chain restaurant like this. Their menu is nicely marked for those who are Gluten Free, which I quite enjoy. In fact, they are super over the top about marking things Gluten Free. They even offer a nutrition menu, as if people that eat at Denny’s are that inclined to watch what they are eating. Don’t get me wrong, I like to know what I’m consuming, but there are better restaurants to eat at if you are being more on the healthy side. Their gluten free english muffin was amazing, for that alone I would go back.

Went here on Christmas evening. Host said it would be 30 minute wait for the food. Nothing else was open except Indian & Thai so we decided to eat here, big mistake! A dumpster would have been a better option. Sat down to a filthy table which was cleared off but never cleaned up, sticky residue from soda and syrup covering the table. Never received silverware, napkins, water until we asked for every single one of these items. Waited 30 minutes for our waitress to come to our filth covered table to get our drink order and give us menus. Then another 15 minutes to get our food order placed. 35 minutes later after ordering an appetizer and two entrees I received my pathetic meal all by its lonesome. I ordered the California Club Sandwich. It arrived as half a sandwich with a pathetic child portion size of fries. I opened the sandwich to find one transparent thin slice of ham, no turkey, crumbled up bits of old bacon, and the remaining majority of the sandwich was bread & tomato. 10 minutes later my wife received her food. Turkey dinner which was barely even warm and missing all the side it was supposed to come with. Still no appetizer mind you. 15 minutes later we received our soggy barely cooked appetizer platter which appeared to be in such bad shape that we just ignored it all together. The entire time we are eating there are homeless people trekking back and forth in the restaurant to use the bathroom so the smell of sour alcohol and body odor was absolutely great for the added ambiance. At the end of the meal we both seriously considered walking out without paying. I walked to the counter where guests are supposed to pay for their meals, told the staff member I would not be paying for such a god awful disgusting pathetic meal and left to go home. I will never come back to any Denny’s again as long as I live. What an utter failure. No excuses. They had plenty of kitchen & wait staff and absolutely no excuse for the pathetic meal that they served us other than sheer laziness.

As good as it gets… For your typical Denny’s. Service good with a smile. Tasty senior meal. Bacon Turkey sandwich with wavy fries. Restrooms clean.,

This was my second time at Denny’s and it was so much better than my first. The atmosphere despite it being 4am was nothing to complain about. The waitress was nice and came to check up on me and made sure I was satisfied. Along with that, I had a delicious meal. Senior Country Fried steak with the side of Mac n cheese and fries. Overall it was a 8⁄10 meal since I don’t have anything to complain about other than the Mac and cheese was bland. The fries had some to no seasoning but that provided a choice for the customer to eat it the way they want. The fried steak was good. Overall, it was a way better experience than my first and the employee represented Denny’s well

Entering the newly remodeled restaurant you’re immediately thrown into a new, sleek setting. Comfortable round booths with ample table space have been replaced by slimline seats and small tables. The old color scheme of welcoming blues and greens are replaced with more modern and business feeling reds, browns, and amber. The old Denny’s for families seems to have been thrown away in hopes of shifting the target visitor. Seating and atmosphere: 3⁄5 A family of 4 will have just barely enough space to sit comfortably at booth. Taller patrons will find it nearly impossible to slide into the inner seats at a booth, while the slightly larger audience will be squished before ever placing their bums on the bench. The free moving tables in the center areas of the diner will seat anyone comfortably, but the lack of table space will hinder the mighty lumberjack to a vegan size meal. Along with changes to the seating, the classic breakfast bar has been replaced by more tiny booths and a wider walkway for staff to grab coffee and deliver trays of food. While the change seems subtle, the wider walkway has also created a clear view of the messy workspace behind the counter. Taking a step back to review everything changed, while exciting and definitely different from before… perhaps the comfort of the old setup should have been preserved in the new layout. Ordering and Interaction: 3⁄5 After waiting for nearly two minutes, which was a long wait compared to previous visits, we were quickly rushed to a seat, without the typical«booth or table» inquiry. Once we were seated and moved seats to a comfortable spot for my family, we quickly had our drinks in hand. No mention was made of the new Coke-Cola soda machine, which allows for hundreds of new drinks. From the moment we were asked about our drinks to the point we ordered our meals, 25 monutes had passed. Minimal check-ins from the staff, while the booths all received numerous check-ins. Mealtime: 2⁄5 With the original setup, patrons had a sense of privacy while eating. Tables faced back-to-back and made eating seem less like a trip to the zoo. This new setup creates a mixed feeling. In the booth, you still feel like it is private dining, while if you’re at a table, especially the tables which share the long bench, you feel like everyone is watching. Should a neighboring table have someone sitting next to you, you become victim of «butt hover», which is just as it sounds — butts hovering in your face, over plates, and bumping into arms while people shuffle into their seats, exit, or while waiters are delivering food. During our meal, my children complained of neighboring tables staring at them, which has NEVER happened at this location. All around a very uncomfortable situation. Overall, the welcoming feeling of this local diner is gone. No more privacy, no more room to eat comfortably, and no more room to sit down. This may be one of the last visits to this location, outside of the large family brunch gatherings every now-and-then.

Horrible HORRIBLE service!!! I have never been so ignored at a restaurant. I’d like to think that it wasn’t a race issue but the circumstances made me feel certain that I was overlooked because of it. Needless to say my family was the first one in and the last to be served. And on top of that made my order wrong. We Will NEVER return.

Disgusting. Filthy, fruit flies all over the walls and booth where we were seated, sticky seats and table, food scattered on dirty old carpeted floor. I don’t expect a gourmet food experience when I go to Denny’s, but this place was a gross wreck. Was so dirty I didn’t feel comfortable ordering food here. Bad food, bad restaurant, bad service.

I’ve been to other Denny’s and the servers were very attentive despite the amount of customers. Here, it was not busy, and quiet a smaller location than others I’ve been to in Seattle. It was not the best service, but the food was as expected.

Management was really nice and accommodating. The floor had crumbs of some sort all over the place! When I went to use the restroom, there was no sign stating it was under construction.

I used to love Denny’s. Came her as a kid up to current. We used to get great service until more recent. The service here in the last year or 2 has really gone down hill. Pretty much every visit there’s always something wrong. They have broken seats at some of there booths and they haven’t fixed min almost a year. People would like to be comfortable when they eat out. Just this visit my family waited 15 min at our booth before I said something to the manager about what was taking so long. The people in the booth beside us sat down after us and got there drinks and food before we could even get water. The manager decided to serve us and apologized about it but it should have never come to that. Not so sure that I will be make this my family breakfast place any more.

That place seemed pretty dirty. I walked in to the restroom and it looked and smelled like no one had cleaned it in a couple of days, that was nasty. Food was ok. The staff was friendly and my food was brought out fairly quickly.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISHELL!!! I made the supreme mistake of pulling into this Denny’s with my girlfriend after 1am. The entire place is full of a bunch of d-bag ‘clubbers’ and tweakers from the club down the street. Loud, drunk, and just downright obnoxious. I honestly felt sorry for the manager of this place. This has to be the only Denny’s I’ve ever experienced that could make do with a bouncer(or three)… There was literally some tweak passed out cold in a booth for the entire duration of our visit. Management seemed oblivious to everything going on, better to just let the entire restaurant be overrun by a bunch of obnoxious 20 somethings than experience a flash riot(that seemed like the policy and logic) As for the food, considering the atmosphere after midnight, you couldn’t pay me to eat here again. There’s less ruckus and stray spitballs in any middle school cafeteria. To sum it up with one word would be repulsive.

I’ve experienced way better. This is probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever encountered at Denny’s. I’m relieved that I live hundreds and hundreds of miles away, so that there won’t be any chance of me ever coming back to this location. I arrived around noon and judging from the people sitting and waiting for a table, it seemed pretty packed with over a dozen of people in the waiting area. However, another glance revealed that there were several clean tables available in addition to the bar stools. It took longer than it should to get my name on the waiting list. The hostess/worker had to ask for my name about three times because she was not paying attention. In addition, she gave me a stink eye and treated me as if I have committed a crime worthy of a thousand lashes. I did not feel welcomed at all. After 15 minutes, the party after me was seated before me. No one cared to run through the wait list even with several tables available. Finally, I was called… by the wrong name. Mind you, it’s not as if my name was that difficult to say. Obviously, I did not respond because it wasn’t my name. The hostess/worker kept eyeing me before I finally met her gaze and she waved me over to ask for my name. Really? After finishing my food, it was a struggle to get the check. After asking another server(male) for the check, he glanced at me before going over to another table to take their order. I finally got the attention of another female, but she gave me a look, said okay, and never came back. All in all, the only person that treated me like a person during the whole dining experience was the waiter that took my order, delivered my food, and dropped by to check if I needed anything. I don’t recall ever seeing her name/name tag. She also got me the check within two minutes after the last two failed attempts. I really don’t understand. Everybody else(including the table that was seated before me) was enjoying themselves! They got their food/drink before I even ordered! I was being ignored left and right that it was ridiculous. I don’t expect five star treatment from Denny’s and I understand the whole you get what you pay for, but these are common things! I really hate to put this into question, but could it be that I was practically the only Asian in the restaurant? Were they… racist?

This place is scary dirty. I have never been to a restaurant so repulsive. If you have any self-respect you’ll head across the street to Village Inn, which has just the diner food you were looking for in the first place.

Me and my boyfriend have been here a few times before really great service but that was before. Now we wait 15 – 20 minutes after completing our dishes for the bill on top of that the waitress messed up our order. And this is now our second time getting sick from here. The cook didn’t cook my bacon or hamburger correct both were still a bit raw witch could cause food borne illness or food poisoning. We’ve decided if we are going to Dennys ever again we are going to the one down in Clackamas.

If I had to write this review with one word it would be GROSS!!! I felt like I was eating in a bus station bathroom. Ug, I just got the shivers! Sticky tables, food and debri all over the place it even smelled greasy and filthy. The booths needed to be wiped down a week ago. I ended up leaving my plate, paying and walking out. It’s unbelievable how cheap and poor quality the food is! This is by far the WORST restaurant I’ve been at in a while! NEVERNEVEREVER Denny’s again. Gotta go… Think I’m gonna throw up.
