I have been searching for someone who knows how to work with and cut Asian hair for a few months now. I stumbled upon David’s Instagram profile and was amazed by his work. I booked an appointment and, like the previous reviewer stated, he is a true hair artist. He knows what he’s doing and is very, very good at it. He took my straight hair that was all one length and brought it back to life.

David is an artist… There is no other way to put it. I never cease to be amazed at what he can do with hair.
Watching him cut hair is like watching Edward Scissorhands. And his coloring process takes a little time — but is more than worth it. Even when your roots grow out, you will continue to get compliments on your color because of the genius and artistry that is David.
I haven’t visited him at Koa yet, but I still recommend him to people all the time.
