Dan The Mortgage Man

I was looking for advice on qualifying for a mortgage as a freelancer/​self-​employed business owner. From reading random advice on the internet I was pretty much convinced that I’d have to sell my soul to even think about buying a house. After talking to Dan and Siobhan I found out it would be SO much easier than I imagined.
Dan and Siobhan met with me and were incredibly generous with their time even though they knew I wouldn’t be ready to apply for a year at least. They gave me excellent advice, answered my questions, gave me worksheets and information, and pointed me to local tax credit programs I didn’t find in my own research (like the Portland Mortgage Credit Certificate). I learned that they even teach a home-​buying class in their spare time.
In short, I am super relieved and very glad I contacted these folks. I look forward to working with them when I’m ready to buy.
