Crystal Nails

They don’t even deserve a star because their service was very bad. They don’t have enough people to accommodate you. The lady who was working there was highly unprofessional and she painted my nails outside and was all over my skin. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. My acrylics came off after a week and they’re supposed to last for a good 4 weeks.

I keep coming back.. for very good reasons. Michael, Terry and Tina do an amazing job. I feel better physically and mentally than I ever have leaving a therapist’s office.

Would NOT stop trying to up-​sell me on everything… Multiple attempts on the same services. If I want something, I’ll ask for it. And the constant up-​selling makes their niceness seem fake.
Hurt my fingers (every single one) while filing with the electric acrylic filer (this has never happened to me at any other nail salon)
Not very good at shaping nails (almond shape is what was attempted)
Nail polish left bubbles that popped
Didn’t put nail polish on the sides of my nails
Rushed me out after only four minutes of drying my nails… They weren’t dry.
Won’t be going back. But everyone else seems to have left nice reviews so maybe you’ll like it?

Michael did my manicure and pedicure and did everything I wanted. He was hilarious and has lots of fun stories. Best of all this place was super inexpensive for what you get. Definitely worth it!

This place is clean and friendly. I got a pedicure for $ 20 and it was one of the best foot/​leg massages I’ve ever gotten with a pedicure. She took her time, used a minty lotion and hot stones. Definitely way beyond a standard pedicure massage. I will definitely be back and likely a regular!

Haven’t had my nails done in years but I have engagement photos this weekend so I needed a magician to turn my man-​hands into delicate bridal hands.
Michael was fast and talented and a sweet guy too! He gave me a fantastic French manicure with the twist of a silver sparkly line between the classic pink and white. The shape is perfect, the length still allows me to type, and the flash is just the right distance between completely traditional and too much for my mom to handle.
I’ll definitely go back.

Everyone at this location is so friendly! Michael and Terry were both awesome! Both made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. It was obvious that they had regulars they care about because as customers came in they greeted by name. I was impressed that they both introduced themselves to me and tried to get to know me. Fun little salon!

Best pedicure massage! Ask for Van. Michael the manager is very good at customer service. Was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Don’t let the old feel turn you away. This is a diamond in the rough! Will come back in a month.

Went here after a bad experience at K&V, glad I did! It’s the same prices, $ 20 for a shellac mani. It’s clean, friendly, no loud TVs or obnoxious radio stations. All very relaxing. They’ll introduce themselves and get to know you, or leave you alone if you just want to flip through a magazine. They even offer loyalty punch cards! My nails were done very neatly and comfortably, would definitely recommend. I’ll be going back!

I absolutely love this place. I been getting my nails done here for 7 years and I hope they never close. Jimmy is amazing! So are the women that work there! When I go I normally get acrylics done, and I must say no other nail salon compares. My nails always come out beautiful! their pedicures are also very good!

Just moved over into the cedar mill area and found this place just down the street from my place. Everyone is very friendly and deena did my shellac manicure. I think this is owned by a married couple who were also working in the shop. They all introduced themselves and we’re very nice. Deena did a great job and the price was very reasonable. 20 $ for a good manicure and the gel polish. I will be going back and keeping this place as my new nail salon.

I have been a patron of Crystal Nails for over ten years. Jimmy and his staff have always been friendly and it was a place I could count on for friendly, reliable waxing and nails. But over the past few months, things have gone downhill. I have had several subpar waxes (Holly does a great job but the others do not) and rude service. The last straw was when I went in to get a manicure before an important interview. When I sat down to dry my nails, there were a few other people in the salon (not super crowded), but for some reason I was rushed out after only a few minutes. I went to grab my wallet but, as I had predicted just a moment ago but been assured that things were fine, two of my nails were disturbed. When I showed my manicurist she brought the nail polish over and went over them with another goopy, thick layer of polish and made no attempt to fix the original. I told her that I wanted it fixed, and she said no, it looked fine and covered it with another layer. She didn’t give me more time to dry my nails so now my naisl had two extra layers of wet polish. I told her that this was unacceptable and I was going to leave. She literally grabbed my hands and forced them in front of two other ladies there, saying, no, no its fine. It was not fine with me. They did not comp me so I had to pay for a terrible manicure. I immediately went home and it took twenty minutes to get all the polish off.
It is really sad when a family run, neighborhood place goes from being reliable and affordable to this terrible.

I love how friendly and happy the people are this location; my mom and I go periodically for pedicures. Their pedicures are very reasonably priced and they have three different kinds you can choose from. Only complaint is that last time, my mom and I decided to get manis and pedis and felt like they kinda rushed through them both. I can’t remember if it was crowded or what… but from then on I’ve stuck with just one or the other and been pretty happy. I’ve also gotten my eyebrows done from them a few times, and they do a good job of doing what you want rather than just doing what they like.

While this nail salon might not look impressive from the outside surroundings, the staff is superb. Clients have their own nail files, work stations are clean and tidy, and the basins for pedicures are sanitary.
I’ve been a client for 3 years and am always pleased with my manicures. Holly, Jimmy and Michael do amazing work with solar nails which look fantastic and don’t lift for usually 3 weeks.
