Overpriced and poor quality for both massage and the combination foot soak, foot massage, head and neck massage. The foot soak was nothing special. The massage portion of this service clearly indicated that these employees are not massage therapists, and lack training. The whispered back and forth to each other during this service. Had to request that pressure be reduced multiple times. The full body massage I received was about the same quality that I get at the chiropractor’s office. No hot towels, special padding, aromatherapy or anything else extra that I expect with a spa charging $ 90 for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. Overall disappointing experience.

I got eyelash extensions done by Ashley, its almost been two weeks and I’m almost ready for a fill. I thought they would last longer but she did say the 1st time doesn’t last as long because I’m not used to them. They are holding up better than I thought they would! I don’t even need mascara or eyeliner and I’m a big mascara person normally. She did a good length too they are beautiful! Ashley is a very nice person too and offers a discount on fills if you refer friends to her :)

Not worth the money. We did a combination foot soak, foot massage, head and neck massage. The foot soak was plain warm water, boring. The foot massage was sub-par, barely any pressure and when my friend asked for more pressure the employee blamed her for not being relaxed. The neck massage was okay but you had to deal with employees smell of tobacco in your face. I never write reviews but I felt that this was so ridiculously overpriced that it was warranted.

I would say I loved the atmosphere and décor. The staff was great too. The facial was very relaxing… except that both staff members let me walk out with my forehead covered in white flakes! I walked down the street and into my car before I noticed. I was sooo embarrassed!!! Enough said…

Just threw a bridal shower here and can’t really think of any reason not to give them 5 stars. Great place to have an event like that, the bride loved it and so did all of the guests. The atmosphere is relaxing and the ladies working there are beyond sweet and accommodating and helped the shower go smoothly. Would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to throw a party or fun shower!

My daughter sent me to Comma Vino with a gift certificate for my birthday. I spent a relaxing and pleasant two hours with an excellent mani-pedi, complete with fabulous hand and foot massage, gel mani, and wine. Kendra was friendly, focused, and even helped me choose polish colors that suited my skin tone as well as the season. The wine and beer list is extensive, and I can see how this would be a really fun place for a small, pampering party. There were a couple of men there too, lounging in front of huge(but quiet) TVs for a good foot soak and massage. My new happy place. I want to take my daughter with me next time. She found a keeper in Comma Vino.

Love this place! What A great idea to serve wine while do manicures and pedicures. Woo hoo! The staff is really wonderful and very caring. The prices are reasonable compared to other spa salons. Easy to get to via max. They don’t have food but are happy to help you out when you bring it in yourself. They have other services that I haven’t even tried yet but I’m sure they’re probably pretty terrific.

This place was just okay. Based on the pictures on Unilocal and the price($ 60 for a 40 minute massage) I was expecting the atmosphere to be nicer. It was nicer than your average no frills Asian massage place but not as nice as a true spa. Staff were a little unprofessional. Nothing horrible but were obviously annoyed with one another(rolling eyes etc) which put a damper on the general mood of things. The massage itself was also just ok. I do like the fact that I could sip wine while having my feet massaged. Bottom line, I would not go back.

5 stars, hands down. 2 friends and I visited Comma Spa(based on previous reviews on Unilocal) for 3 pedicures and 1 massage. An exceptional experience was had by all! Delightfully relaxing, beautiful ambiance, stellar customer service – couldn’t dream of a better way to wrap up Thanksgiving.

HORRIBLEDEAL! I bought a groupon for«Valentine’s package includes chocolate sugar foot scrub, foot soak with rose petals, foot massage with chocolate massage oil, and champagne.» *Chocolate sugar foot scrub, foot soak with red-rose petals, and 20-minute foot massage with chocolate massage oil($ 40 value) *Champagne($ 14 value) *Gourmet chocolate disk($ 4 value) *Hot stones($ 20 value) If they charge this much regular, they are WAY over-priced. I feel like I got a rip-off for paying $ 40! The lady that did my foot massage was completely disinterested. She said that she normally did hair and she was obviously not at all happy that she got stuck with a foot massage. I was given ONE piece of cheap chocolate and a class of wine. The lady was taking the clock and the second the 20 minutes was up, she was eager to get me out. I was thinking I would at least get a nail painting along with the foot massage but that apparently wasn’t included so I paid an extra $ 20 for a HORRIBLE paint job. I will never be going back and will never recommend anyone.

Used a coupon bought at an auction for a late Mother’s Day gift. Amazing service. Had a facial, foot soak/massage and mimosa. Lovely and calm environment.

Visiting from San Francisco, had a very pleasant experience. Decided to treat myself before going back. As soon as i came in I was acknowledged, briefly explained the services i was interested in. Ashley(vietnamese lady) found a personalized approach for my needs and time left before heading to the airport. Pedicure is as well done and as relaxing as i have expected & lip waxing was painless and no irritation afterwards!! Really happy and will be back next time i’m in Portland.

I had bought a Groupon for a foot massage and facial including a glass of wine and the service was so appalling that I left after 30 minutes. I have never walked out of a spa service before. The person(male) who had«attended» to us seemed disinterested in attending to us at all. He sat us down at our station and left us to soak our feet in tepid water for 15 minutes while he chatted away with 2 other people at the front desk. He then returned and gave each of us a cursory 1 minute foot scrub but didn’t ask if our water needed to be warmed or if we needed anything else. He left us there for another 15 minutes while he went back to chat with his colleagues at the front desk. At that point, the water that we were soaking in was cold and I couldn’t get anyone’s attention because they were talking amongst themselves at the front desk so we put on our shoes to leave. People goes to a spa to get pampered and that’s what was advertised but that’s not the service that was given. Unfortunately for Comma, I have been to Barefoot Sage and I was impressed with Barefoot Sage and the service that I had received at the time but now I’m doubly impressed with them given my experience at Comma.

Comma had a minor service blip with me when my in-laws came to town, but I will tell you this: hunt far n wide as you might: you will not find better service or a better nail job in all of the downtown-to-pearl area of Portland. This is THEONLYPLACE I have been to that doesn’t have the manicurists texting and even taking phone calls while they do your nails. I know, that’s something so small and stupid, but it’s a big deal when only one place in town can do it right! Do NOT take Ashley and her business for granted, these folks working miracles on nails on the daily!

The owner was so warm and kind, and was more than happy to stay late and squeezed me in for an evening gel mani, while chatting me up about her spa adventures the whole time. +5 stars The girl that checked me in offered me a wine list — awesome — but then never came back to take an order, so I went thirsty. Boo. But, I saved $ 12 for not drinking. –1 star Unfortunately, the gel mani I got literally only lasted 1 day before chipping. WHAT?! I’ve been getting gel manis for years, and this is the only time I’ve had a chip in under 2 weeks. I didn’t need to pay a premium for a gel mani, when it didn’t even last as long as a regular mani. –3 stars Though I enjoyed the company of the owner, I won’t be back.

Lovely, lovely spa/salon. Wasn’t sure what to expect but made a mani/pedi appointment here on a whim and what a surpise. Was instantly greeted by a very friendly staff and instantly felt at ease. The place overall is small but warm, modern, and cozy. There are lounge chairs, fireplaces, soothing music… and of course, don’t forget the wine! It is quite easy to spend a couple of hours here. Do yourself a favor and get a glass of wine… they have a great variety. All the prices are very fair even for a bottle. The house wine is only $ 5/glass and tastes great. My deluxe pedicure was amazing. Rose petels floating in the water. Excellent leg and foot massage. My toes never looked better! Lots of choices for polish as well. My back fill was nice. A little spendy(didn’t realize it would cost $ 15 extra to get some ‘bling’ on my nails) but they certainly look good! All in all Comma is a new fave for sure. I would love to come back for a facial or massage… sit and lounge around while drinking wine. The staff here make you feel so welcome. Recommendation: Don’t come here if you are looking for a quick service or something inexpensive. For a pedicure and a back fill– including tip I paid $ 100. It is well worth the money in my book. Treat yourself!

I came in all ragged and exhausted and I left all pretty and refreshed. All it took was a simple shellac manicure at the capable hands of the lovely Ashley. The shellac manicure has turned into one of my necessities in life. I’ve been driving to a great little spot in Lake Oswego but that day I was just too damn tired to drive anywhere. The reviews by Ms. Sherry S. and Olivia O. sealed the deal for me and I decided to give Comma a try. A cup of hot mint tea perked me up and a hot lavender neck wrap warmed me up and relaxed me as Ashley went to work on my hands. Here I am a week later and I’m still looking as good as new. Hmmmm, I may just cheat on my regular place again and walk myself down here when I need my next fix. The space itself is relaxing and inviting, the price is right, and the service is stellar.

If you are going in here just for nail painting you are missing out on so much more. I had a full body massage from Shelly and my shoulders are no longer touching my ears for starters. I like a massage where my body is working to help remove that ancient stubborn tightness. The theraputic ones mean so much more because they are longer lasting. That’s the kind I asked for. She was very intuitive about what my body was trying to tell her as she worked though my achy muscles and sore spots. The room itself is cozy, warm, and almost cave-like in its lighting. The music is soothing and encourages you to relax. Definitely lightened up the tension.
