We came here before and after doing the Escape Adventure down the street. Our first drop in was just for beers and $ 3 mimosa’s. That went well enough. fast service. Cool place. Our second drop in was for another beer and some $ 5 all-you-can-eat spaghetti, only they charged us $ 6 for the spaghetti. I thought it was a mistake but the bartender said«Sorry, our menus just changed»…then proceeded to hand me a menu that stated it was $ 5. When I pointed that out, she was all«Sorry, it’s changed in our computer system». Irritated, I point to the sandwich sign out front that also stated it was $ 5. She wouldn’t budge. That meant $ 1 less tip for her — because I felt it was false advertising. Mind you, we could all afford the extra $ 1, but don’t reel people into buying something, thinking they are getting a super good price, when they actually aren’t. After all, none of us had a second plate and the spaghetti sauce did not have meat. It was strictly tomato sauce and noodles and bread. Being that I worked in the food service industry as well, it is customary to charge the advertised price. Hopefully they will fix their menus and sandwich sign, because I can’t be the only person that thinks it is wrong to charge more than what is stated in 2 locations in a restaurant.

Can I give this place zero stars? The server, who I can only assume is «Bill» since every other review mentions him, is a horrible excuse for a server and/or manager. He is awful and rude. I thought it was just a bad night for him, but my boyfriend has been in there more than I have an said he is like that all the time. He needs to be fired.

Good-average sports bar with bar food, stiff drink, pool tables, darts, etc. Service was a bit on the slow side for there barely being anyone in the place when I was there.

Needed to burn some time, and this is near my husband’s work. Thought we’d stop in. Well, the service was okay, but the food was pathetic. I ordered the mini corn dogs, see attached pic. As I recall, they were like $ 8. What a total ripoff. My husband ordered the BBQ burger. There was at least a half bottle of sauce on it. We couldn’t draw the attention of our waitress to get a fork and knife, so he had to shower after… It was just a poor experience. Probably won’t be back, unless it’s for just a beer.

Went for Thursday night football sat at the bar. Bartender was rude the entire 2 hrs I stayed. Would not get me glass of water even though he was only unloading dishes. Was slow taking order, was very rude to the other waitstaff. Can’t believe the staff put up with him. There 100s of awesome places to watch sports this is not one. Wings were driest I’ve ever had, beer selection was decent.

I love $.75 taco Tuesday, but I hate the poor service. We’ve gone twice now and both times they act annoyed we are there. The prices are fine and the place is large enough for a group of people, but the service is seriously lacking.

Local bar in my neighbor good. 10 or so beers on tap, domestic and micro brews. Food selection of liquor and more beer otions in the bottle. Decent menu, my gf and I like to go down for dinner or lunch and we are never disappointed. Staff for the most part are friendly and mix an good drink.

I’ve been a customer there at coaches for over a year and had no problems until recently until the manager bill was in one of his moods and completely made me feel like I was a second class citezen when I went there he completley ignored me with the things I needed on hand and when I approached him he had a completely unprofessional response to my dilemma with him I like that place in the past but its not the same how it used to be its just managment being completely unprofessional and down right just rude

Place is okay. Service sucks. The cook surprisingly was more attentive then the servers. Went in for happy hour with a friend. Jalapeño poppers for 4 bucks! Mozzarella sticks 4 bucks. Chicken and fries 4 bucks! Great deal right! WRONG oh so wrong. For 4 bucks you get 4 jalapeño poppers, 4 bucks gets you small mozzarella sticks and tiny chicken and couple fries. Yeah definitely wasn’t happy with this«Happy hour» I felt ripped off. I just paid a dollar per popper and a dollar for a stick. Go to McMenamin’s they have good happy hour! I always leave Happy :)

Coach’s used to be our favorite local bar until we met the manager/regular bar tender. He was not only rude, arrogant, and a pompous asshole, but also over-charged our group of regulars and when confronted with the mistake, threatened to make us cash only from then on out. It is really a shame that this loser of a manager brings down this entire bar as their wait and kitchen staff are great. If the owners were smart, they would fire this disgusting and egotistical Jersey Shore wannabe because they just lost our business.

Roach’s has cornered the sports bar market in Cedar Hills: by being the only bar(other than a strip bar) within 3 miles. I’d agree with other reviewers that Bill is a Bag, but the other servers are generally nice, if slow. I really, really wanted to like this place, the location is ideal while waiting out a Hwy 26 traffic jam, but they just don’t give a shit. Expect slow, uninterested service, standard food fare, and maybe some Blazers or NFL. Weak on MLB and MLS.

Eh. Went there for Karaōke– really like the lay out of the place– it’s open and has a very eclectic crowd. Unfortunately, the KJ insisted on playing 1 – 3RAP songs between singers– which made the night too long waiting for my friends to sing. Let it be dj or let it be karaōke– but people generally don’t enjoy both, whether they prefer karaōke or dj rap music/videos.

You do not come here for the food. Sadly. pretty basic, nothing exciting and just what you would expect for a dive bar. What you do come for is the strong drinks and pretty friendly staff. Place needs some minor fixes with tables, chairs, paint, silly things like that. But just go in knowing you are going into a dive bar lol

Coach’s Bar & Grill resides in the old and out of the way Cedar Hills Shopping Center. Other than the Department of Motor Vehicles very few establishments have been able to survive in this isolated location. However, Coach’s has managed to hold on. Word was out that Coach’s Bar & Grill was good for some inexpensive grub so we decided to give them a try. Coach’s Bar & Grill is actually a very nice sports bar. The interior is decorated with a very pleasant Portland Trailblazers theme. Among the artifacts here are pool tables, multiple televisions, dart boards, and a ping pong table. The seating is spacious and comfortable. The crowd is good. The service is friendly, attentive, and just plain kind. Among the menu offerings are appetizers, soup, salads, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and pizza. Coach’s also serves a New York Steak, meatloaf, and fish & chips. Check out the front reader board for food and drink specials. On our visit Coach’s was selling large pizzas for $ 10. The food at Coach’s Bar & Grill will probably not knock your socks off. However, the grub here is tasty and very reasonably priced. We had an appetizer, two burgers, and two beers. Our bill came to only $ 27. A very pleasant and inexpensive meal indeed. Coach’s Bar & Grill is an establishment that works very hard to get your business. Coach’s is definitely in the same league as Portland’s best sports bars.

Hands down, favorite bar. We’re here every Wednesday night for trivia, and have no plans on ever going anywhere else. Bill, Jess, & Ruben are fantastic, they know us by name, remember our drink orders, and are friendly every time. We are never rushed, and for those who say that Bill & Jess don’t know what they’re doing, you’re dead wrong. Bill and Jessica make the bar for us, they’re consistently on top of it, we never have to ask to have our drinks refilled, Jess is on it, delivering the next one just the ones in front of us are drained. The menu is varied, and everything fresh. Admittedly they don’t put up with anyones bullshit, but they shouldn’t have to. Don’t go into a sports bar expecting to be coddled and told that you’re wonderful. You’re in a sports bar, if you act like a snob, you’ll be treated like one.

I can’t stop coming to this place!!! The bartenders are nice, the food excellent and drinks are reasonably priced. This place is huge. It has video poker, off track betting, pool, jukebox and big buck hunter safari. The crowd is friendly and it’s a good place to people watch. There is always parking. Plenty of TVs. The daily specials aren’t that bad either. This is a nice place to chill at when you need a break from the family or work.

Local bar in Cedar Hills area. Have been numerous times and like their breakfast and prices. GOODPUBGRUB and Beer selection is average to good for this area. Enjoyed a Jubelale and some lunch midweek with my Dad. Service can be spotty. Today there was a new girl training, so was neglected initially. Her trainer took our order-completely missed our sides request, but we just ate it anyway. I ordered TOTs, got Potato Salad?. My dad ordered Fries, got TOTs. We mentioned to them as an aside. And they insisted on making us some up to take with us. Fries and TOTs. A nice touch. Thanks for looking out for us. Always some good food and drink specials on board. They moved their OTB betting to inside the bar–
