I recently took the Sweet and Savory Food Tour of downtown Vancouver (WA) that was offered by Chocolate Tasting & More and was very, very impressed. Savina and Ramona had a great itinerary planned for us, combining a gentle walking tour of downtown Vancouver (with historical insights along the way) and then stopping at different restaurants and cafes to sample food and beverages. The «samples» of food were tasty and quite generous. I am looking forward to going back to all of the establishments we visited for another visit.
I can’t wait to sign up for some of the chocolate tasting tours that this company offers. The ladies who lead these tours obviously have a love of food and love to share that passion with others. I have been on other «foodie» walking tours in the Portland area and while they were good, going on tour with Savina and Ramona was more like spending the afternoon with friends — friends who know really good places to eat and drink!

Just want to retract my critical review… it was totally my inepititude. The website had obvious contact info and my «blindness» didn’t let me see!

This tour was a birthday gift and it was absolutely fantastic! The chocolates were to die for. I have a particularly high chocolate tolerance, and this tour definitely tested the limits of it. If you don’t want to eat all the chocolate at once, Savina (the tour guide) provides a ziploc for any leftovers. This is a great way to see the city and enjoy some local confections at the same time. Also, Savina was a lovely tour guide, a wealth of chocolate and Portland knowledge, and was so thoughtful in providing water and almonds during the tour :)
