I’ve been a patient here for several years now, after getting a referral from my fabulous dentist (Dr. Portash, see multiple 5-​star reviews for him if you’re dentist-​shopping). This has been the only periodontal office I’ve visited, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but Phuong (the hygienist who does my cleanings) is kind, sweet, and efficient, and the front desk folks have always been professional and on top of things even with my constantly changing (or non-​existent) dental insurance. Dr. Herriges (who I see from time-​to-​time for my exams) along with Phuong have gotten me on a sensible cleaning schedule, given me helpful advice that’s made a noticeable difference, and they communicate regularly with my regular dentist so that each office always has the others’ notes on hand when I arrive.
The only disclaimer is that they are a busy office, so if you do need to reschedule an appointment, it can be difficult to get another appointment soon. But that seems to be pretty standard for any busy medical/​dental office. (And they will put you on a waitlist and call when appointments become open, so if you’re able to be a bit flexible, they can often get you in when somebody cancels.)
