Our son attended CCLC Fred Meyer from infancy to kindergarten and we sincerely miss this kind and caring place. We made great friends that we will have for life and our son grew with a joy of learning. They paid attention to our son’s particular interests and used that to keep him engaged and absorbing knowledge. I’ll admit the daycare industry does not have the best pay, so unfortunately staffing can ebb and flow as people moved on to other opportunities. Over the years there were a few bumps along the way, but I cannot think of a time that there was not a perennial core of people with educational backgrounds, with a sincere interest in child development and joy that celebrated the uniqueness of each child. We feel so lucky to have had so many of these people in our son’s life.(Even after we graduated, the CCLC staff were glad to speak with our kindergarten teachers to share pointers on our child’s needs!)
