Cat In Repose

The Cat in Repose is an elegant structure in the middle of downtown Portland. It depicts a cat lying around in fairly accurate detail. There isn’t that much texture, but the way the materials were molded shows some wonderful craftsmanship. Even the modification which may have come from a pedestrian with a Sharpe that consists of eyes works well.
Crossing by here is neat and Portland has enhanced the city greatly through these works. We see them all the time, but it can be difficult to paint the coherent effort. A man was petting the cat when I came by and it looked cute despite being more akin to the size of a tiger.
The Cat in Repose is an undoubtedly adorable work of art.

This is going to be a short review. Its an sculpture of a big, fluffy cat. It kind of makes you want to pet it. It is fairly abstract with just enough features to be instantly recognizable as a cat. Kids especially seem to be drawn to it. All it needs is a second sculpture of a giant cat lady.
