Five stars for being practically the only pizza delivery place near me open past midnight, and not only that, but serving pizza that is WAY more delicious than Dominoes for roughly the same price.

Their pizza is awesome and i love their meatball subs I would give these guys more stars but the girl who works the register deserves 3 maybe even less stars. I came in around 2 o clock yesterday and had asked a few simple questions while she scoffed twice while taking my order and was onviously too annoyed to even say yes, no or even i dont know would have been better. Ill just order delivery from now on and drink somewhere else

I need to avoid dairy and gluten and so having a pizza place which accommodates those is amazing. But i have been noticing that i have reaction symptoms far more often than normal lately. This week was the worst. I called them to check the ingredients. Turn out they put fake meats on their gluten-free vegan options. I asked them to check the ingredients and they said«all of our fake meats have gluten in them. sorry.» It’s dangerous to advertise something as Gluten Free and then put gluten in it. You might think it’s a fad, but some of us get seriously sick.

Man, like six months ago this was my favorite place to order food from late night. But the last two times I have ordered the orders have been wrong and not as good. Used to be delicious now the vegan Alfredo is bland… No love… The first mess up they offered me a five dollar credit, that somehow disappeared… now they got an order wrong and didn’t offer to fix it, just said they will refund the one item. Disappointing. Maybe they are only good in the slow season when they can take their time, even though we waited an hour for pasta and two salads.

Amazing pizza, drinks and service! I have recommended this place to many people since we found it. Will be back any chance I get! Love the salads too! The atmosphere was fun, and the outdoor seating is a nice treat!

Pre finding out I had a gluten-intolerance I was just like«meh» about the crust of the pizza. It was good but didn’t leave you salivating and wanting to down the whole pizza, because come on… pizza. Now that I am gluten free though, pizza is one of those things that you just can’t quite replicate GF that will fix the pizza cravings. But last night I had a GF pizza from Blackbird and it was GOOD. I mean, it wasn’t glutenous pizza glory but I was satisfied and was like… yes. Pizza. Finally.

The crust, the crust, the crust. I think I say it for all my pizza reviews. If the crust isn’t worth it, then the pizza isn’t worth existing. I will admit that I need to return and have some regular slices of pizza but my first visit to Blackbird was for Pizza Week 2016 and their offering of a Reuben slice was unreal. Now I didn’t make it to that many of the pizza week locations(I sat with a guy at one spot and he had hit up 13 places) but the ones I did were all pretty good in their own way. The Reuben was my first slice and well, the other places needed to live up to the hype. Blackbird went all out on this slice loaded with meat, kraut and the thousand island(aka Russian) dressing. The interesting part was the spicy mustard base. I liked it! I will admit that I was craving a pickle to go with the pizza, a nice garlic sour would have been perfect… I also enjoyed a glass of homemade lemonade to go with the pizza. Nice and tart. The slice was not skimpy for the $ 2 that you paid and you did not need more than one. As I said, I want to get back here and get some pepperoni and see what else they offer. They do have a full bar and the beer selections looked good. The staff was quite friendly and apparently regulars are appreciated. I’ll make my way back here soon. Enjoy.

I rarely go out for pizza since I work at a shoppe myself. But I stopped in for the reuban slice during pizza week. The slice was good and I just thought the space was really cool too. If I lived closer I’d be by here for late night slices and hangs.

I checked this spot out during Pizza Week, I wish I had found it sooner. Awesome happy hour, and a neat games area for the kiddos(or adults of course). The pizza was really good; maybe not the best i’ve had but lots of variety. Mason jar drinks were strong and unique; I had the Cheeky Owl and my friend had the Kentucky Blackbird, both very tasty.

My wife had a horrible experience here today. She tried ordering the vegan/gluten-free slice of the day(they always have one available), but somehow this was misunderstood, and she instead got a ham and pineapple slice. When she pointed out the error, she was given major attitude. The order was then botched a second time — she was given a vegan slice and a gluten-free slice, but not the vegan AND gluten-free slice. She tried again to communicate clearly what it was she wanted, but whoever was working flipped out and yelled at her(you just don’t ever yell at the customer, period) saying he couldn’t understand what she wanted(again, there’s always a vegan & gluten-free slice, don’t understand the problem here). His coworker who had initially taken the order then chimed in, telling him that he also couldn’t understand what she wanted. Another thing you never do in customer service is demean your customer right in front of them. The pizza is usually pretty good here, and it’s nice they have options, but jeez, what a nightmare. P. S. When she finally got her vegan/gluten-free slice, it was cold.

We ordered delivery to our office a couple of weeks ago. A normal cheese pizza for the boring people in our office and the rest of us although all craving different things, we settled on the lamb sausage pizza. My one complaint– after one slice in, I really didn’t want to have to share with anyone. That was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. And it was delivered! Also ordered was the garlic knots, which I’m sure were good, but the pizza of course was the highlight. My boss ordered us a salad as well which was good, but all of the toppings were at the bottom of the container by the time it was delivered. Maybe put the toppings in a little container for when someone orders? Just a suggestion. We all are curious about the other kinds that they have now, but all we really want is just more of the same thing. Hoping it’s just as good the next time we have it! I’ve told friends about it and I look forward to going in sometime soon.

I love Blackbird Pizza — for drinks. They have the same lineup of signature cocktails served in mason jars as Swift, which shares owners, and they are delicious and incredibly potent. My favorite is the Kentucky Blackbird. Get the 32-ounce over the 16 if you’re looking for a great deal. The outside seating is great on sunny days. The inside is spacious with plenty of tables as well as seats at the bar. They show Blazers games. They have pinball machines. The food is incredibly mediocre. But the drinks and the hangout factor are perfect.

Simple, yet well done pizza for $ 4. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options as well as traditional meat pizzas are a plus! Just make sure you don’t get your pizza overcooked — they’ve offered to remake mine which is nice. Overall, solid pizza place that I’ll keep going back to. Next time I’ll have to try some of their salads!

Their pizza is great and I’ve had many good slices here. That being said I just found out that they don’t start making a pizza for pickup until you pay. If you order over the phone make sure to pay ahead or your 30 minute pizza will take more like 50:( Edit: it was an hour for like warm pizza! After some thought while walking to my car I came back and asked for a refund. They did refund me, but this is my last time here:(

I placed an order for delivery from Blackbird Pizza last night based on their vegan-friendliness. I ordered the two two-topping pizzas for $ 22 Tuesday special(for both pizzas I chose the cashew cream base & Daiya mozzarella; for one pizza I chose broccoli & mushrooms, for the other roasted garlic & spinach). The person who took my order was very friendly, as was the person who delivered(I was quoted at around a 35 minute delivery & they were spot-on). Although I like many more toppings on my pizza than two(I added more once they arrived), both pizzas were flavorful, they did not skimp on the vegan cheese, & the weekly Tuesday special is a bargain considering the price of pizza in Portland. I look forward to trying the Vegan Delight(their standard menu’s vegan option) soon.
