BedMart Mattress Superstores

Everything was really good until I tried to return some sheets to them that were damaged right out of the box. I called them the day I got them and they told me it would take a week. So I waited and came on the day to pick up my sheets. They didn’t have them, and they sent me to another store to get them. I went to the other store but they didn’t have them either they guy said that he would just upgrade me to some better sheets that he did have. I said ok, but then he asked for my credit card, it wasn’t free. He was just trying to sell me them. He said he didn’t have the sheets and told me I needed to go to Wilsonville to get my sheets. I told him no and I would need to have them delivered. He then told me that this would be $ 75 dollars. On my way back I stopped by the original mattress store and gave him a chance to do anything before I go to corporate. He told me that my sheets came in magically right after I had left. He then made me sign something saying I would not return the ones he was giving me and that they were as is.
They are good when getting a mattress and better then sleep train but if you have any problems with your mattress or any other things you are SOL.

I have not bought a mattress in years. I was overwhelmed by what is available. I had been to 5 or 6 stores when I wandered into Hayden Islan Bedmart because I had just finished sailing and it was on my way home.
It was a wonderful experience from the git go. Stephen was friendly helpful and always mindful of my budget. I went home feeling like I had found what I was looking for but wanted to sleep on it so to speak (the old mattress to remember why I was doing this).
I went back in a week and Stephen remembered me and the models I had liked. Again Stephen was very helpful in educationg me on what made one mattress more durable or comfortable than another.
I bought my mattress yesterday and I am so excited to sleep on my new mattress tonight.
I will reccommend Hayden Island Bed Mart to all my friends and family. There is actually a bedmart nearer my home but I was made to feel so welcome at Hayden Island that I would rather go there.

I love BedMart. I bought a great mattress there 8 years ago and went to them again when I needed a new one. Found a good, cheap (relatively) mattress (FYI: I wanted an old-​school innerspring, not a fancy pillow top or memory foam because they jack up my back). They were able to deliver the next day and both the sales guy, Chris, and the delivery guys were top-​notch. I only recommend BedMart when asked.

This was my first real mattress purchase, and I imagine like most people shopping at Hayden Island I hit them all. BedMart was the last one I visited, and I ended up buying from them. If you’re looking for a name brand you’re probably going to end up paying about the same no mater what store you go to, as I think prices are set by the manufacturer. That is to say I can’t say I got a great deal, but I can’t say I got ripped off either. I do feel like I got a fair price though. You can get better deals with off brand companies, but with something that’s going to last you 20 years, why bother???
What I did find and BedMart was a very knowledgeable and professional sales staff. I was pleasantly surprised by our sales person, Chris Callahan. He was head and shoulders above the other sales people I had talked to in other stores. He was knowledgeable about all of the mattresses, and very friendly. His card states his title as a «Expert Sleep Consultant» and I think that’s a perfect way to describe him. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me a mattress at all, I felt like he was genuinely trying to help me find a mattress that was comfortable and within my budget. He was very low pressure, very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would defiantly buy from them again.

Wow, what an experience! Chris Callahan might be the best sales professional I have had the pleasure to work with. Needs based conversation with zero pressure to buy. We spent nearly an hour together trying every type of bed — he knew everything there was to know right down to the history of the type of bed. Needless to say we purchased a beautiful king set that fit our needs and budget. I Definitely recommend BedMart and Mr. Callahan.

My boyfriend and I were out shopping for a new mattress last Saturday and went into Bedmart (we were the only people in the store). We of course had been to the other two mattress stores since they are all three in a row why wouldn’t you go look around– jantzen beach). I was in this store for less than five minutes total. Of the mattresses I saw they were brands that I had never heard of and very expensive. Then the sales guy came over to us and my boyfriend was wandering the store and he said very rudely «I guess I am only talking to you» as the conversation went on he asked me what my mattress preferences were and when I said «not a pillow top or memory foam» he almost started arguing with me saying that those are 90% of what he sells. As the conversation ended he said «you know they sell mattresses at costco» and left the store to go outside and smoke with the other worker. We immediately left the store and as we left we heard him say something like «oh there they go». I have never been treated so badly in my life. I will NEVER recommend this store and to you I suggest staying as far away as possible. If I could give them 0 stars I could!!!

So the bf and I are in the market for a new bed. On our way to Lowes yesterday we decided we should pop into Bedmart and at least see what we are getting ourselves into. I/​We were impressed with the selection and the knowledge of the salesperson (Tim) he let us shop around and take our time, and even though we didn’t plan on making a purchase we did, and we got a fantastic deal. I also feel really good about supporting a local business who has been around for 15+ years.
