Battery Exchange

Tim was the best! Very helpful and friendly on the phone. He initially gave me a 45min ETA and was at my location within 15mins! Quick, painless and easy for a Monday morning. They so rock!

My boyfriend highly recommended Battery Xchange so I drove to the shop with a very bad battery in my Rav-​4. Brandon was friendly, helpful, and had my new battery in the car in about 10 minutes! I did a quick check on the internet and found no better deals. I definitely recommend this business for the price, customer service and convenience!

Brandon at this Battery Exchange was awesome! I had an issues with what I thought was a bad alternator, but after helping me with a battery loaner and getting my car to their shop. We soon discovered that it was a weak starter, as well as an alternator putting out only 40 of it total 80 amp capacity.
Once we discovered/​identified the issue, I wasn’t expecting to spend as much as was needed to rectify the issue. Unfortunately, I had to decline the service until later in the month, once I got paid from work. After Brandon’s hours of help and diagnosis of my car he didn’t even charge me for the assistance. What a great help this shop was for me in figuring out what was going on with the electrical system… THANKS, Brandon! See you guys soon.
I would highly recommend this shop to anyone stuck and close by the shop. You will not be disappointed.

been coming here for years when an electrical problem arises… on 10−18−14, this time they tested the battery and it needed replacing… also i don’t drive very much, so i bought a charger that uses a wall outlet… both guys were efficient, friendly, and answered all of our questions… always a great place and they were quick too… thx

I pulled in to the shop on MLK Blvd, and I was barely out of my car when a young Brandon cheerfully appeared from nowhere asked how he could help. I said I was having some battery problems and wanted to know if I needed a new one. He explained everything he was doing as he tested my battery, ruled out alternator, and installed a new one, and offered me one for $ 83 with a warranty (I think 2 yr but not sure). I mentioned a problem I was having with my dash lights as well and he checked all my fuses for me too! (I didn’t even know where they all were). I asked if he could install a new one right then, he said sure, and done! I was probably only in there 10 minutes. Now that’s great service! Thanks Brandon!

Showed up one minute after they opened. Guy there was friendly (more so than I would have been that soon into the work day). He tested my battery and found the voltage to be fine but not the amperage. He also was able to tell me my alternator was behaving fine and that the battery was 13 years old! He had a new battery for me but suggested that I go to the 20^th and Belmont location because they had a used battery and a «Factory Second» battery that would fit my car (1980 Mercedes 300SD). He explained the difference between the three batteries and I chose the factory second (which comes with a 2-​year warranty). Cole, the manager at the Belmont location had the battery waiting for me when I pulled up. He was friendly and quick to do the installation. My final bill was $ 50 instead of $ 130 for the new battery. I feel like I have a new car! The temperature has been below 20 in the mornings for over a week and it starts RIGHT up even though it’s a 33 year-​old Diesel. Definitely recommended!

Such a positive experience! I owe it all to my boy Cole; super friendly and knowledgeable. Before calling him I called quite a few places trying to find the best price and B.E. beat them all by a LONG shot! If your reading this then you are doing exactly what I was; trying to find an honest repair shop with good service and a good price, so do yourself a favor man and stop looking and go to Battery Exchange… Provided you have an issue that they can fix of course and if not they will point you in the right direction! I took my car in thinking the battery needed to be replaced because I’d had some trouble starting the car the day before and battery was fairly old. Technician immediately tested my battery just to make sure it was a dead battery, found out it was completely charged! So he also tested my alternator to make sure that wasn’t a problem and found it to be fine. Came to conclusion that it had just been a really hot day and maybe some overheating caused my car not to start properly. He gave me a business card and said could contact them if had the start up problem again and they’d be out to help service my car, but no need to buy a battery. So nice and helpful! Would recommend. Will be going to them again if have an issue.
