Ordered the Broke«Chic» Sandwich and I wish I was broke so I could not order such a monstrosity. It was three breaded chicken nuggets on a hot dog bun. I was also charged extra for tomato? I could see this being a special at McDonalds for .99 cents not $ 6.50.

Wow. 4.5-star aggregate score?! Folks, this is bar food. You know, greasy, breaded, deep-fried stuff? For me, carts are about rising above the food served in smelly dives populated by sad old barflies. At this pod alone, you have the amazing Angry Unicorn Burger, award-winning Roadrunner Pit BBQ, and the mighty ‘Dirty Mo’ of J-Mo’s Sandwich Shack. The quality of the competitors makes this cart pale in comparison. Our first experience: My wife got the Famous Catch fish sandwich. A slimy, greasy fish filet served on a *cold* bun. She was not impressed, but was hungry. The fish was inconsistent, temperature-wise, inside. Bad sign. The next morning she got to see it all come back up on the bus while commuting to work. Fun. I guess the famous catch is the bacteria you catch and wrestle with while using a sick day. To be fair, my daughter got some tenders and potatoes, which she enjoyed and ate, but she’s 6, so… you know, she thinks chicken mcnuggets are good.

I tried out the fried chicken tenders as well as the potato wedges. Both were fantastic. The seasoning on the chicken was excellent! Overall fantastic comfort food. Even though it was fried chicken, it didn’t taste greasy at all. Excellent.

These ladies are fantastic! They are the newest addition to the Carts on Foster pod. I’ve had their Sloppy Jane, potato wedges, and fried pickles. The Sloppy Jane has a very fresh and meaty flavor(no canned sauce here). The fried pickles have a nice spice to them and you are destined for deliciousness if you ask for their homemade fry sauce to go with them. Cute cart, great menu, great prices. I’ll definitely be back.

Great new addition to the Foster food carts… must try this wonderfully delicious chicken these gals fry up… really good stuff. Also real cool cut on the fries, kind of a jo jo cut, but thin so it cooked well and tasted great. Clean, cute cart with very friendly smiles serving you. Welcome to the neighborhood! «I’ll be back» as Arnie says.

This is a new cart — just opened on March 18. The menu has a bunch of American favorites, including several fried foods. On the weekend I showed up, the owner’s father handed out samples of the«Sloppy Jane»(on a slider bun). I’d easily order the regular-sized version. A wonderful sweetness to that meaty mixture. The best part is being able to add a fried egg to your Sloppy Jane for $ 1 more. I’d ask if they could toast the bun up just for a crunchy texture contrast. The Crabby Muffin is a small appetizer that I had my eyes on from the moment I saw the menu. I really liked their creamy crab dip. Just your standard English muffin and shredded cheese otherwise. All I needed was a good beer with that — and you can get one at the pod bar! Their Kickin’ Chicken can be chicken strips or legs(large drumsticks). It looked like a naked chicken wing or a very light flour coating of some type. Excellent job on the frying with that crispy skin. I didn’t pick up any of the cajun/wing sauce-like experience that I would associate with this, so I’m now wondering if I just had the chicken there. It’s a promising cart. As always, the challenge is to get that extra exposure and bring in more customers.
