This place has the best prices I’ve seen for this type of store. I bought a couple items for my walls and a nice wool jacket all for less than $ 100. The employees are friendly, and it doesn’t have that [ironic] pretentious vibe that a lot of these reclamation/antique/vintage stores have. This place is definitely worth a browse

I stopped in to Artifact on Small Business Saturday while taking part in Little Boxes. I browsed around for a while and enjoyed their vast amount of interesting things, but didn’t find anything in terms of home goods or décor. I was impressed by their selection of shoes as well, especially boots, but again, didn’t find anything during this visit. I then went on to look at the sweaters, as I really do need a few more. After only a minute I found a gorgeous Autumn Cashmere cardigan in like-new condition for only $ 22. I hurried over to the dressing room area and tried it on, looking to the mirror outside of the dressing rooms for feedback.(Since you have to call someone over to unlock a room, I really appreciate that they have an external mirror for quick try-ons). In the end, I walked out with the sweater for $ 17 thanks to a Chinook Book coupon. I had a good experience here and will be back next time I need new clothing and I’m in the area. After you’re done finding treasures, head across the street to Pinolo for the best gelato in town!

Love love LOVE this place. Get my clothes here, as well as gifts and furniture. The people who work here are awesome and basically this is the best«vintage» or second hand store in town. Prices are spot on too. They don’t overcharge and I really hope it stays that way.

This place has so many treasures! Make sure you do at least three or four laps around the store. And look closely at everything! Most of the pricing is reasonable and the items are mostly in good shape. Just be sure to inspect them and know that you really want to keep it forever. They do not do exchanges or refunds. All sales are final and it won’t be verbalized because there’s a sign on the counter that you may or may not see. I bought a rug here and it ended up having quite a few more stains on it than I remembered in the store and now I’m stuck with it. I think I’ll dye it or something. That’s really my only complaint. The clothing is extremely affordable and kinda wacky! They’re fun and the employees were friendly.

I could spend 8 hours in here and never get bored. Amazing stuff from little trinkets to furniture pieces and area rugs, jewelry and clothes. Super friendly(and adorable) staff. Love it.

Interesting store, they had a mix of new items and used items. I’ve seen Similar stores charge almost twice the price, so this place is pretty reasonably priced, and I like that they don’t have to many items, it’s not over crowded like some used stores. Found a cute used top for $ 6, can’t really beat that.

This is my favorite consignment shop in the city. They have really good taste and the store is full of items rich in color and texture.

This place is awesome. They do a very good job selecting the merchandise and price it very low. I found a gorgeous sweater there for $ 8. They have a high turnover of inventory so you never know what you’ll find… but I can assure you it will be cool and cheap. Friendly staff.

This place is rad. They have an awesome selection of furniture, home décor, jewelry, and clothing. Everything is also pretty darn cheap. I’ve sold clothes here a few times as well. They don’t hand over a ton of money(everything is cheap, see above), but they take a lot of stuff that I think maybe Buffalo, or similar places, might pass on.

This is a really cool vintage/second-hand store on Division. My mom discovered this place a few months ago(I don’t remember how) and had mentioned it in several conversations since. While I was home for the holidays, she insisted we visit, and I’m so happy she did! The items in the store are a mix between secondhand(ie. blouses and jeans you’d find at Goodwill), vintage(clothes from the 70s and 80s), antiques(furniture pieces at least a few decades old) plus a sprinkling of other random and cool items like those Hawaiian warrior heads made from coconuts. For the vintage and secondhand stuff, their prices are pretty good. I would say probably cheaper than Goodwill(or maybe the same, but the stuff is better). I bought a pair of Free People floral pants for $ 14 and a brand new necklace for $ 10. They were also selling a real fur coat for $ 35! Not my style, but was impressed it wasn’t pricier. All in all, definitely worth a browse through Artifact.

I really like this store for their eclectic mix of vintage, secondhand, and fun/quirky items. A quick 15-minute stop yielded me a cute purse(Forever 21, a beautiful bright blue), a fun ring, and a gorgeous swan ring holder(I’ve been looking for years for something like this!). All for $ 19! Given more time, I’m sure I would’ve found something to take home amongst: — Their clothes, many very international/traditional looking, also trendy stuff. — Their furniture(these were a bit more pricey, some seem not to be second hand but made by local furniture makers). — Their household items(décor, tableware, table cloths). — Vintage cameras in those nice old-school leather cases. And I thought this store was SUPER affordable. Maybe it’s normal for Portland, but for someone used to San Francisco prices, I found everything to be about half the price of what I’d expect.

This is my favorite shop in portland. Artifact has a perfectly curated collection of unique housewares, art, furniture, clothing, jewelry and shoes sold at prices that give the overpriced portland thrift stores a serious run for their money. In fact, this place has nearly replaced goodwill completely on my list of go-to places for unique goodies. There is no longer any reason to scrounge and dig for hours in a thrift store for one treasure when Artifact has an entire store full of treasures for the same price or LESS without all that work!

I LOVE this thrift store! There are so many interesting antiques, art and trinkets in addition to the amazing clothes. I love thrift shopping for clothes, and Artifact has such a great mix of different eras at cheap prices.(Just got a great blouse for $ 8 for example!) The more vintage an item is, the higher the price generally speaking — which makes perfect sense. Overall my favorite place on Division! :)

Blankets and furniture and art, oh my! Artifact is FULL of fun little things to decorate your place with, all of which are very reasonably priced. That bar cart you want to start? Mid-Century at Artificat for under $ 30. Want a well-preserved antique baroque-patterned sofa? It’s at Artifact for just over $ 300. On a budget, but like fun, small things? Plentyyyyy of that. I purchased an antique 14×14 painting of a ship for $ 6. SIXDOLLARS, yo. Their clothing and accessories are equally fun as their housewares. Check this place out if you’re an antique lover looking to furnish a new apt!

One of my top five stores in Portland! I only wish it was in my neighborhood as I would frequent it weekly! The store owner, Leah is incredibly kind and you can tell has been doing this for a long time. The pieces she picks are well curated and she definitely prices right. I have found so many gems. My last trip I found a beautiful kaftan, a gold lion necklace, and a beach hat. There is always something to pick up. Last trip I found the most beautiful ottoman. The store is filled with things to either decorate your home or just get gussied up for the evening. I also love having this spot for trading in my old gems in order to support my habit of shopping there. Two HUGE thumbs up for this wonderful establishment!

Artifact stands out as one the best consignment shops in Portland. If your items are accepted, you can get cash upfront or use the credit to purchase items in the shop. Pricier items are consigned the traditional way. I have been having the best time clearing my home of goods I am no longer enamored of ! The owner is a natural talent and has a great eye for choosing merchandise and a spot on ability to price things to move. She just knows. One week can pass and everything will be moved around, sold, replaced and redecorated. Eye candy and cheap prices! Impressive talent all around and lots of Good Karma. A+++++
