Okay yes I’m a massage therapist here, but I am the luckiest person ever to be able to say that. Kate, the owner, is fantastic! The healing arts center is perfectly appointed, heated massage tables, quiet treatment rooms, and the storefront is amazing. The jewelry alone is enough reason to stop by. Yay for me I get to work at the cost place in Portland!!!

Was in Portland for an extended weekend, stopped in this store to look around at all the crystals. Noticed a sign for massage services. Booked on the spot for the end of weekend.
Massage was absolutely lovely with a little reflexology mixed in. Very nice and tranquil environment. I highly recommend and will have to go back when I back in Portland.

I had a reading with their resident clairvoyant that left me less than satisfied. I spent an hour sitting in a room with a woman I feel certain is a total fraud, whipping her hands in the air as if turning the pages of a book, as she explained the law of attraction to me (yeah, I watched that Oprah episode too, honey) and made reading recommendations — all for the low, low price of $ 100+. I’m embarrassed that I booked the appointment. When I listened to my recording of my session, I was just appalled that someone actually charges for this. What a joke.
I do want to frame my review: this is a beautiful space, has a charming shop and the woman that greeted me when I arrived was exceptionally warm and considerate. My review is specifically of the practitioner that I saw, who I could not recommend under any circumstances.

I popped into this store the other day. I was just wandering and not anticipating this to be a store for me. However, it really is a great place. I have even since returned to this place, only days after my first visit.
First off, I was greeted so warmly by two ladies working there. I felt at ease exploring the store. But they gave me space to take it all. When I came upon a few items I had questions on, the lady working at the register was ready to help me.
There are so many lovely gems and necklaces here. I actually ended up buying several wonderful items to be given as gifts. There is a great selection of teas and the staff is able to easily help guide on which one to get. The prices are really very reasonable!
I believe they do readings and acupuncture too. Though I am not very familiar with how that all works. I do know is they carry many items that can make unique and thoughtful gifts.
I purchased a cherry kava jubilee tincture that really seems to help with headaches.
I say this place is worth exploring!

I went into this place because I saw «yoga» in the window and wanted to see what that was about. It turns out that they have a person who comes in and does therapeutic yoga mixed with Reiki one-​on-​ones in a body work room they have in the back. I ended up getting into a long conversation with the woman working the store about yoga. Very pleasant.
The atmosphere of the store is calm. It was relaxing to peruse their goods, which consist of different herbs and woods for burning, jewelry, special rock, oils and herbal remedies, books, and other assorted goods of that nature. The prices were surprisingly low for the jewelry considering how nice it looked.
Besides the yoga, Arcana also offers services including meditation classes, acupuncture, and psychc-​type readings. Depending on your interests, Arcana could either be a nice place to hop into while you’re out exploring, or even worth a special trip. I certainly enjoyed my visit there.

As one of the practitioners at Arcana, I have been witness to it’s amazing growth /​evolution over the past year! (May marks the one year anniversary of being open!) The owner, Kate Hebold, is a very intelligent & conscientious owner, director, organizer and healer.
Kate is always gracious and considerate of many variables when negotiating time & space for practitioner & client. My working with her has been purely a joy and one that makes my life as a healer-​practitioner so much easier. She creates a safe space for healing so that there are few distractions and the work at hand can be done smoothly.
The store offers so many options for healing, education & lovely artisan jewelry– plus more!

I came to Arcana after my partner gave me a gift certificate for community acupuncture. I am still going, once a week, every week.
Kate is one of the friendliest people I have ever encountered in a store. There is some really beautiful jewelry and crystals, but my favorite part so far has been the community acupuncture sessions from David. I have also been for a longer, massage/​acupuncture session which was excellent. The rooms are really nice and I always leave with a huge smile on my face.

Arcana is a great space to Heal your Body and Soul.

Arcana is a store full of alternative healing therapies, local jewelry, art work, and various rooms for massages, tarot card readings, astrology, aura readings, etc. This is a store for someone else to review because most of this stuff really doesn’t resonate with me. But the woman working at Arcana was very pleasant, the store was bright and attractive, and I wanted to see the place listed because some people are into this. Besides the water colors were beautiful scenes that had UFOs floating in the air. I thought that was cool.
