82nd Street Bar & Grill

This place is a hidden gem! The food is cheap and delicious! I would’ve taken a picture but I was all «damn paparazzi, I ain’t got time for that» and chowed down my food. I had the chicken fried steak special, perfect hash browns and the most accurately prepared eggs over medium I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. Before today my favorite breakfast spot in the city was Tom’s. Don’t get me wrong Tom’s is good but this place is great! I will definitely be back. Super awesome drink and food prices for any day or night. A must try!

Great cocktail. Also the homemade clam chowder and cod fish and chips are good. But need to make homemade tarter with it. Friendly staff.

I was on my way to IHOP when I saw a sign outside this place (right across the street) for a $ 2.95 breakfast. Curious, I stopped in. It’s an older bar where the regulars are really regular. Waitress was kind but paid most of her attention to those sitting at the bar drinking bloody mary’s at 9am and talking about how wasted they got last night.
Menu prices are really really good. The chicken fried steak breakfast was listed at $ 6.95 so I figured, why the hell not. Came with eggs, hash, and toast. The hash are nothing to brag about (not crispy enough for me but thankfully not greasy at all) but the chicken fried steak was delicious! That gravy? I can’t think of a place I’ve had better. Coffee was meh and while the waitress offered cream she didn’t bring sugar.
This is the type you’ll only find white or wheat toast and forget about finding the type of Tabasco you prefer but turns out since it was Sunday, the CFS was on special for only $ 4.95. I was full, satisfied, and after tip was only set back $ 10. Not too shabby.

Their chicken fried steak special and cheeseburger specials are really good deals.
This place is very much a local/​neighborhood bar type place. The bartenders are super nice gals. We have eaten there a few times and will definitely come back.
The place is older and there are definitely regulars that go in there and yes, they do look like they spend all day there but they are harmless. I think it adds to the «flavor» of this place :)

I’ve been going there for 3 years and hate reading the few bad reviews. There food is Excellent! Breakfast burrito, bacon cheese burgers, onion rings, cold sandwiches are all very good! best drinks anywhere and all affordable. If there are bad things going on in the crowd, I wouldn’t know. I am not involved in that stuff. Great drinks, Great food. That’s it!

Strong drinks, video crack, cheap decent food… people watching

If you like the taste of ash trays, then you might like the food here. If you’re hankering for a Bloody Mary or Jack & Coke at 8am, this might be your place too.
I was originally attracted by their $ 2.95 sign (I’m a sucker for a good deal, especially if turns out to be a pleasant surprise) but it was the worst food decision I’ve ever made (including drinking spoiled milk). The best advice I can give is to just keep on driving.
