Nice course in good condition, staff is also very friendly which is a definite plus. However if you are not an avid golfer, who only likes to play occasionally as I do, I don’t recommend going to this course until you feel confident that you have played and practiced enough to be considered at least a decent golfer. This course is overpopulated with local regulars on the weekend, many of whom are extremely impatient with other players who are not as good as they are. Golf is a gentleman’s game but they seemed to have forgotten that simple concept. I went here almost two years ago with a few friends and the locals were demanding us to let them play ahead and were extremely rude, that it took away the fun of our game and enjoying being together. This is also an extremely challenging course, lots of hills, and slopes, not a lot of flat land like you might expect. Again, it’s a nice course, and I appreciate the hospitality of the staff, but unless golf is your life then I recommend going to another course such as Exeter to play, or going when there aren’t as many locals around and getting a cart, and looking out for them, and let them play through, otherwise they will get extremely ticked. I can’t blame the course for the fact that the regulars are rude, but this place has customers who have no idea what common politeness and sportsmanship is, and if they can’t practice that on a golf course no matter how good or bad other players are then maybe they shouldn’t be playing golf at all to begin with.

Let’s be honest it’s not the nicest course it’s kinda in the ghetto and it’s an old course. But for what it is and the price you can’t ask for much more. Especially if you play the out of bounds markers this can be a fun course! $ 5 after 2pm on weekdays can’t beat that!
