I when to the website looking to buy a few fruiting Pistachio trees. I would love to review the selections and service, unfortunately I cannot even see what they sell, because some halfwit turned on a mobil site function and forgot a central rule of the internet. MOBILESITESAREOUTDATEDCR@P!(If you for some reason need extra mobil functionality use adjusting frames not a whole new site) More than that having a mobil site that is under construction with NOLINK to the full site is an unforgivable sin.

I ordered two plants online from Clifton’s and they are beautiful. They were sent in a dormant state and have flourished ever since. The packaging was perfect and the plants are extremely healthy. I would absolutely recommend this company and plan on ordering from them again.

I was looking online for a Black Jack fig tree and low and behold this business came up on . I ordered the fig tree and John who I worked with was able to get me a lower shipping rate and the tree arrived in great condition. I am thrilled and wanted to recommmend this business to anyone looking for a good plant and to get good customer service. You will not be disappointed.

So often we Unilocal to complain, and I think it’s important to Unilocal when we’ve been treated well. Our son purchased a fuyu persimmon tree from Clifton’s on line site as a gift for us. Unfortunately it wasn’t the variety of Fuyu tree I wanted. I called them and I felt in every communication they tried to please me. Among their suggestions was for me to donate the wrong tree to a worthy charity or person who would appreciate it and they’d send me another. They were prompt returning emails and phone calls, and I knew it would all end wel, l as it did. I’d recommend them highly! Marilyn H

Love this company. I purchased the most awesome Meyer Lemon Tree from this company. It was shipped quickly and arrived in pristine condition(they have lovely shipping boxes that carefully protect the tree), and my interactions with this company have been fantastic. They answered my questions, returned by calls and were generally outstanding to deal with!

Recently as a result of a delivery service failure I had to contact Clifton’s Nursery. John the owner immediately responded and had two new plants on the way to my SF bay area home within days. Keep in mind that Clifton’s was not at fault at all! I had never ordered plants on line before but will again from Clifton’s. Few businesses go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. Clifton’s did that and more. They are a first class small business that takes care of their customers. I highly recommend them for anyone ordering plants on line. This is a business who will care about you.

Other businesses could learn about customer service from Clifton’s Flower & Garden Center and John Dhanens. I think there are two ways to measure a merchant — the quality-to-value ratio of the purchased product and the service you receive. While I had an initial issue with the former — a potted Blue Hydrangea I ordered my mom for Mother’s Day did not arrive in the best condition, although I think this was due to the shipper leaving the plant in a warehouse over the weekend before making the delivery on a Monday — this seller far exceeded my expectations for service. John, the nursery manager, remedied my initial dissatisfaction with superior followup service. He gave me a full refund immediately and apologized for the poor condition the plant was in when it arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend using Clifton’s Nursery for landscape plants. If you are expecting a full blooming plant upon arrival, you may be better off with a Calyx Flowers, FTD or other florists that force-bloom plants. However, for landscaping, this nursery will serve your needs beautifully.

**Please note, my experience with the company was based on 2 online purchases. I have not been to the physical location. In general, I was very happy with how quickly the plants were delivered to me, coupled with the fact they arrived in good condition, and considering we were having a heat wave when I received them. Having never ordered plants online, I placed an order for single plant, just to see if it would arrive alive or if the company was legit. I was so pleased that I placed an order for 2 more plants and had the same great experience, and there was no need for me to contact them. My only qualm was that the packages were filled with packing peanuts, which made removing the plants a rather messy experience because they were intertwined with all of the branches, but it wasn’t a deal-killer for me. However, if you are a hard-core environmentalist or have OCD, this is probably going to cause you some psychological scarring, but I digress. I can’t speak to how good their prices are, relative to similar companies, but I would definitely order from them again.

Ordered 2 tree’s from these guys and they never came. Called him countless times and he only responded after I called my bank to cancel the transaction. He said he would ship me the tree’s and a free gift for the troubles. A week passed and nothing ever came and I couldn’t revers the charge on my credit card because they said I had worked it out with the vendor. Owner is a thief… avoid at all costs. Its a shame amazon doesn’t kick him out as a vendor.

I did mail order through the Internet and while the first order some three years ago was fine as they had varieties not found somewhere else, my recent order was appalling: They charged twice as much as similar citrus in a local nursery and what I got was so bad, that they would not be able to sell it to seeing customers. The one tree was entirely loop-sided, the other was diseased and both have sever malnutrition(lack of K, Mg). «Oh, they must have gotten cold over winter, give them some years» was the excuse, wait, no quality check here ??? In addition their packaging was the worst environmental disaster: A box full of styrofoam chips. How is that working when you unpack that tree in the garden, wind blowing the chips all around? Hello? Anybody thinking here? The offered to refund one tree, but still stuck me with the bill for shipping and the other tree — and the trees. Now I have to go out to buy real trees. Avoid at all possibility!
