Nestled within the awe inspiring beauty of Letchworth State Park is the historic Glenn Iris Inn. It is a must see spot during a visit at the park, you can’t miss it as it is located right by the middle falls viewing spot. The Inn is beautiful, and there is a reason a wedding was planned to occur later in the day. This place is a restaurant and hotel, and I am told by my NY friends that you must reserve well in advance to get a spot to eat. The restaurant space is quite spacious and spread between two rooms, there are also a couple of spots outside to eat. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food, I just ordered the wrong thing. My husband took pity on my unimaginative bland salmon salad, and offered up his delicious fries. Everything else looked and sounded great. I definitely ordered my drink correctly, a delicious hot cider well spiked. The ambiance and staff were spot on. An amazing space in which to enjoy the park.

A bit pricey, but being inside the park and sleeping to the sound of the waterfalls is amazing. At the very least good for dinner, lunch, even a take out picnic. Note the location: it is next to «middle falls». The maps online often have this wrong.
