If you are selling a used prom dress, just sell it at a garage sale as opposed to having Savvy sell it. I brought in 4 beautiful dresses purchased from Memories and only sold one dress. I received $ 28 for it. Actually, I was ok with that but when I went in to pick up my remaining dresses, one of the dresses was missing a transition strap that would make the dress either strapless or with a strap. Also, when I dropped the dresses off, the employee didn’t tell me they were going to throw out the really nice storage bags I received from Memories. Again, I’ll take the blame for that but when I asked the employee she gave me a very sarcastic remark and stated,“It was written in your contract that we would throw out the storage bags!” She may have been correct but why didn’t they tell me when I brought the dresses in to take the bags home since they were going to throw it out? I took home my 3 high quality dresses in what was equivalent to one garbage bag provided by Savvy. My girls at at an age now where they need bridal dresses and I won’t be returning to this store. Not impressed at all with their service.

I felt slightly pressured to buy a dress, but they barely had anything in my size. Sorry, I’m not buying a dress two sizes too small and hope it can get altered. You may have better luck that me if you are under a size 20.
Many of the dresses I did try on were stained or had other defects. Most of them seemed to be leftovers from David’s Bridal. The prices are also comparable to DB. I could spend $ 50-​$ 100 more and buy brand new from DB instead of a used dress here.
That being said, the store is nice and spacious and the size of the dressing rooms is fairly generous. You can actually move around! The lady working was helpful and pulled a few dresses for me, but I did feel slightly pressured.

After 3 other bridal salons where I thought stuff was just okay, we tried this place. They help you pull things but you are pretty much on your own after that. I think that is just what I needed, there was no pressure at all and we felt like we could joke around and relax. They had a more unusual selection of dresses and some even had tags still on them. There were two I found that I had liked better then all other dresses I had seen so far, but I still couldn’t bring myself to pick one,
Beware, you may have to have alternations because you may find one you love in a size or two bigger. But the prices are so reasonable it won’t break the bank.
