Bam Pizza Company

Nice chewy pizza dough, WAY too much cheese for my taste. I asked for double pep and it looked like regular pep, don’t know if that’s what they consider double or if they messed my order up. Wouldn’t return.

Went in to order a carry out order of a Bam salad, fried mushrooms, with chicken and a small pizza.
The mushrooms were good. Salad was fresh and the Italian dressing was awesome. Pizza recommended was also good.
Out of the 3 items i ordered, I’m okay with this place. It’s not like the BEST pizza I’ve ever tasted, but for this area, it was good.

Very good pizza. We got the deep-​dish and it was outstanding. Pricing was pretty fair as well and the breadsticks were great too. There’s a lot of good pizza in NW Indiana but I would go back.

Tried this for the first time tonight and OMG… so good! We got 3 pizzas, 2 orders of breadsticks and a salad for $ 52 and it fed 5 of us with a ton left over. I usually will skip breadsticks but wow were these amazing and so flavorful even without sauce. The pizza was great and so was the crust and you really get a lot for the money. The staff was really friendly, the place was clean and the pizza was ready quick. I will for sure be ordering from Bam again!

My new favorite pizza!!! Their pizza is awesome, staff is great and they seriously can make you the biggest pizza you can imagine ha. Highly recommended! Cheese is perfect amount and so is the sauce.

Being from the Chicagoland area and working in Burns Harbor I’ve noticed it’s hard to find any good pizza in this area. Bam is a solid pizza place with a good menu. The service is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced, couldn’t say enough about how accommodating they were, being as I have a difficult situation at work with delivery. Highly recommend!

Yesssssssss! You see I’m happy because I live in the outcast town of Burns Harbor where most Chesterton and Portage businesses don’t want to provide delivery service. Jimmy Johns is less than 10 miles away and will not deliver. Some other pizza places do delivery but take well over a hour. I thought I always had to order JJs pizza. I’m pretty new to Unilocal and that’s how I found out about this place. Thanks for the good and honest reviews people! I hope the service and food here stay consistent. The pizza that was delivered looked just like the picture and the bread sticks were very good. Can’t wait to try more. I got the supreme the toppings were awesome if I have to be critical the crust was mediocre. This isn’t the best pizza I have ever had, but it is the best delivered pizza I have ever had! I plan on updating this review once I try more of the menu.

I seriously only ordered this pizza because I found a menu they handed out during a parade, lol ! But for real the best decision ever ! I really like J&J’s but they have really horrible attitudes and yeah I really just think BAM has better pizza, and the breadsticks … ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Did Jesus hand make those himself lol, seriously this place rocks.

I live 5.8 miles from this place and they won’t deliver to my home in Hobart. And they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to pick up an order. Seriously? They just lost a potentially loyal customer. Hey Bam Pizza Company, word of mouth is a very powerful tool, especially for a pizza joint.

Pizza not consistent, pretty bland. We’ve tried it a couple times and it’s not worth the money.

In terms of pizza there are 4 levels of restaurants,
1. Crap
2. meh, it’s pizza
3. pretty good
4. Chiago.
I would have to say that Bam is a 3, It’s pretty good.
One of the nice things about Bam is that no matter what size pizza you get, it’s always the same quality, which is really nice. The pizza is pretty good and the other items, sandwiches, bread sticks, various other fried items are all pretty good too.
It’s not too pricey and they deliver pretty quick.

The Italian beef sandwich on garlic bread is great. The pizza is not as good, just ok.

The breadsticks were amazing! Pizza was great and the toppings were fresh. Definately recommend!

Tried mild wings, beef sandwich, Bam salad and Club sandwich. Awesome food for everything. Wings had a good sauce, one of the best. Sandwiches excellent. Salad super inexpensive. Only thing I didn’t like was creamy garlic salad dressing. Garlic overpowering. Would eat there again. Customer service good as well.

The highlight of this pizza joint is the amazing breadsticks. They are the best! The pizza is good too, but nothing amazing. The staff always seems friendly and it’s nice to have an alternative pizza joint in the area.

Fast delivery, HOT, fresh ingredients– DELICIOUS pizza! Bam’s has EXCELLENT delivery service… and that service begins the second they answer your phone call. Tired of immediately being placed on hold the moment the phone is answered? CALL BAMs!!! You may be placed on hold briefly, but only after you’ve been greeted and acknowledged. The pizza is one of the best delivered pies I’ve had. Be sure to order the breadsticks. They are AMAZING!!!

Always great food and great price! Everytime I have been, they have always had wonderful service and specials. Breadsticks are the best in the area!

I took a XL thin crust sausage and cheese pizza in for my crew in midnights because a few on the crew were asking if it was good. Also took in a couple of orders of bread sticks.
Ordered it early and had it done right before I went in tonight.
Everyone liked the pizza, and the breadsticks were awesome.
I will say it is decent pizza, everyone has their favorites and this is on the list of pizzas I will eat, even though it isn’t my favorite.

Decent pizza. I was a little disappointed since a lot of friends had said how good it was. Maybe my expectations were a little high.
This is located in the former Fox Pizza in the Portage Mall.
I would compare it to Cappo’s Pizza. I give Cappo’s the same 3 Star rating, it’s just OK.
The breadsticks had a great taste and reminded me of those knots or twists that you get at AJ’s Pizza, which is a good thing. The one problem I had with them is they were slightly burned on the bottom.
I’ll give this place another shot, but my hopes aren’t that high.
