Hampton Inn Savannah North

Great little hotel for a family trying to make it as far as they can b4 an ice storm in Charlotte. Beverly, the night front desk clerk was awesome! She helped us fix a reservation we screwed up and Hilton Honors couldn’t fix. Thanks Beverly and Hampton Inn!

Although it was a quick stay this is a nice place to spend the night. The breakfast is good. Rooms were clean and the area is safe. Would stay again.

We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years… it has really, really gone downhill. The toilet didn’t flush, the shower drain didn’t drain, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken. To top it all off, the maid came banging on our door at 9:40 a.m., waking my sons, to «check» and see if we had checked out yet. Check-​out is at 12:00 noon. Certainly does not live up to Hilton’s standards.

Wow — Gone to the dogs– I am a dog
Lover and have a dog but this one beats all– You should note the first 2 floors are dedicated to dogs and they are everywhere. Not just a few, but 10 – 15 in the hallway at a time– — all that aside — it needs upgrading– Hampton needs to come and do an upgrade like that have on so many other GA properties– IE. Macon & Tifton–

When traveling with your dog, sometimes you have to stay at less than ideal places, but I cannot say enough about what a nice hotel this is on the I-​95 corridor north of Savannah. It is updated, clean, and the staff is friendly. We had a room with two double beds on the second floor and it was clean and quiet. We paid $ 103 per night with the AAA discount, they don’t charge a pet fee. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Request a new room and got another 2 queen.
Bed mattress need upgrade so the showers.
Would give an extra ½ star if available for the price.

As usual, Hampton Inn is great. Free delicious breakfast, great prices, and always clean and comfortable. Paris has it right!

Always a great place to stay. Breakfast area and food are kept spotless by Sonia. She is one if the best I have seen at Hampton Inns.

Hampton Inn is that olé reliably brand of hotels that our family depends on when on the road. Especially when there are many other choices in the area like there was this night on the road and having no reservations. There were at least four hotels around this one and we first came to Hampton Inn to ask for availability even though the lot was packed.
Well score I did on the last room and got a sweet military discount to boot as she noticed my Coast Guard shirt on. The woman working the desk was friendly and took care of me very quickly in the late hour with kids in the car.
The room in pretty good shape, but there was an issue with the door latch sticking when trying to open and close it. The best thing was the mattress with a pillow top that made you feel as if you were sleeping on a cloud.
Wake up call went off on schedule and bill was under the door. This was a great little stay, but we still needed to get breakfast before hitting the road for Florida.
Breakfast at Hampton Inn is pretty typical stuff of yogurt, cereal, fruit and YES the waffle maker. What usually sets it apart is the service of the staff that man it. A very sweet woman was taking care of the area and doing a great job. As well she chatted up several of the guest and this makes a difference. Oh, the food was good too.
I would recommend. BTW, with warmer weather coming they have a nice big pool too.

I enjoyed staying here on a recent road trip. This location was very easy to get to and it was a nice hotel. Check-​in was efficiently handled and the room was great.
Having a decent pool was a good feature.
I would stay here again if I have the opportunity.

** DISCLAIMER** Not completely sure this is the location I stayed at. This one was the closest «address» that would allow me to check in, so whatevs. The correct location is just South of I-​95 on Augusta Road (30). Either way… here’s my review.
YAY FOR NO PET FEE’S!!! It was amazing the amount of dogs here. I guess everybody w/​a pet knows. The staff was EXCELLENT! From the check-​in lady to the breakfast lady to the various housekeeping staff… WONDERFUL!
Highlights:
* Fitness room is clean. Not much there… 2 treadmills, an eliptical, and weighted balls. They have towels and water. No weights of any sort (outside of the fitness balls)
* Room was clean. I enjoyed it. A bit small, but clean
* HOT BREAKFAST!!! See my photo… AWESOME!!! Absolutely loved that they had hot oatmeal (w/​options to add raisins, maple sugar, brown sugar), biscuits n’ gravy, cheese omelettes, fresh cut fruit, standard waffle makers, and GREEK YOGURT!!! AWESOME!!!
* wi-​fi worked quite well actually. Always a plus!
I’d definitely come here again, unless the hotel prices are cheaper in Historic Downtown Savannah. But this place is only a 20 min drive from there. And it’s right off the freeway.

Clean hotel would stay again

Did my second stay here last night. Nice place with a nice staff. The fitness room could definitely use some free weights or at least a multi purpose work out machine. After we were in for the night we tried to watch TV but the remote didn’t work. We got a 2^nd remote from the desk and this didn’t work either. We could turn on the TV from the TV itself but something was still wrong with it. When I reported the issue in the morning the staff refunded my money although I wasn’t looking for that. I was surprised to say the least. I did appreciate this.
I’ll stay here again without hesitation.

It’s hard to give any hotel 5 stars because it’s just not home, but I’m going to do it. I gave this place 5 stars because it’s clean and welcoming. The price ($ 99/​night) was a good value for what you get. And they welcome pets with NO PET FEE!!! The bathroom was fresh and modern and didn’t make you cringe like some hotels. The beds were comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was average. My only small complaint was that our room was right next to the exit, which was convenient when taking the dog outside, but kinda loud cause you could hear every time the door would open and close. Overall a good hotel to stop at while traveling on I-​95.

Nice place, exceptionally clean room with heavenly beds. I was less than impressed with breakfast. Hampton is the chain that seemed to get the whole «free breakfast» thing started, but the competition seems to get it better. They offer some kind of hot egg product, strange tasting and very rubbery. Fresh fruit was scarce. The recent addition of waffles was welcome, and they were pretty good.
We would stay here again any time, it was a very comfortable stay.
