Completely horrible. Took tennis lessons here during my high school years and I felt so awkward just being there. Out of the 3 coaches that I had, probably only 1 of them was actually decent. Manny and the receptionist were super rude to me and my mother. Not sure if it was because we weren’t from the same zip code or if my tennis skills were completely subpar… either way, it was uncalled for to be treated in such a manner. My brother got better lessons from Alley Pond and that’s saying a lot. Overpriced, the«1-on-1» did not feel personal at all plus terrible customer service.

These people are disgusting. Last week, we took took my sons in to get tested, and after so much unnecessary hassle because they got the times wrong, we found out one boy was a beginner and my other one was an intermediate. We took them this morning for tennis camp, and after I had dropped them off, the head coach, Manny rudely called me and FINALLY made me aware that they don’t do the camp for the lower level boy. I mean, we got tested MORETHAN A WEEKAGO. I find this obscenely rude on their part. I do not recommend this location to anyone — the courts and premises are about average, and didn’t impress me enough to give this two stars. After a situation like this, they didn’t even apologize or offer me consolation. The receptionist, Judy, was just as rude when initially giving me directions. She was practically shouting at me and overall gave me a bad first impression of the place. Manny and the other foreign coach failed to make my boys feel comfortable; after all this I just decided to enroll my boys in Robbie Wagner’s, another, better, location on LI. I have been playing tennis at Robbie’s for about ten years now, and before then I had tried out multiple other clubs; even SportTime for my youngest daughter, which in my opinion was great for the kids. I have never had a bad experience with tennis clubs before, but thinking about this one just makes me sick to my stomach. DONOTCOMEHEREIFYOUEXPECTTOBETREATEDWITHEVEN A MODICUMOFRESPECT.

A wonderful tennis club that never gets enough recognition. It is approximately 15 – 20 minuts off the Long Island Expressway and is a great indoor facility. It sports more than 15 tennis courts of both the hard court and the clay court variety. It is spacious, clean and even has snacks for members! The coaches are friendly, helpful and are foreign so they have wonderful stories and accents if you get a chance to talk to them. They run programs for ALL ages from very young children to tennis programs, adults and even seniors. For every age group and player skill group, there is something for you. There are league matches, individual & group lessons as well as competitive tournaments and even a sports shop that will take care of your tennis needs. The head coach and honcho, Manny is one of the sweetest men alive and is more than helpful. If you ever have a problem just ask for him on the phone and tell him that Priyanka recommended the facility. Between you and me, Port Washington has some of the most REASONABLE junior programs in LI if you go with the group lessons and match play once a week. Its a great starting or beginner to intermediate level programs. The sports shop is great, but a little expensive for all your tennis needs, so if you will be using it on the regular, stop in to another pro shop. You can message me for recommendations if you need to! I played in this club for a few years during my teen years when I was a competitive junior player in the USTA circuit! Great club, and great coaches! YOUCAN’T GOWRONG! :)
