Ouch. This is not a good dining experience. The menu is repetitive and all tastes the same. The pupusas are the only thing I truly enjoyed. The rest is over seasoned and boring. Their chorizo tastes cheap. The guacamole is amateur and is an incredibly small serving size. The rice is too salty and their burritos are mostly rice. The salsa is confusing because I just eat it to enjoy the salty taste while I crunch on the tortilla chips. The most annoying part of the dining experience is not the food. I could do with ok food. This is a step above Taco Bell after all. Though for some reason they are priced as if they have a Michelin star. But their service can be quite dreadful. Half the time they forget something you ordered. If you point it out be ready to see someone be annoyed. They barely ever check in with you. They seemed bored and like they don’t care. Most times I have to ask for chips because someone forgot to bring them over. When my wife ordered an item off the menu the waitress did not believe the item existed. I had to point it out to her. The space itself is fairly nice but they’ve added extra tables recently. We came with another couple, the restaurant was 25% full and the waitress kept on squeezing behind our friends bumping into them because there wasn’t enough space. A Fire Marshall might not approve. Oh wait, our friend we brought there is a Fire Marshall.

To start they played terrible loud christmas music the whole time. The chips were not freshly fried and the salsa was mediocre. The menu was generic and extremely repetitive mexican food you could get anywhere. I ordered the arroz con pollo with chorizo; it was nothing special. First off it cost 17 dollars which was overpriced for the lackluster preparation of the dish. Second it was bland and overly simple. Thirdly my mom is super white and knows nothing about making mexican food and her chicken and rice is way better and much cheaper. Good mexican is very hard to find in this area; go to the bodegas if u want spanish food because its cheaper and better than this place. I can’t find any reason to come back…

I know that Unilocal review can affect a business, so I am trying to aim for higher. And this place will get from 3 stars. I ate here with my friend right after watching a movie, and we were starving. I can say it is OK, and it did the job. But I wouldn’t keep it on mind for the next time. I do not think it is as bad as other described, and not as good as some other did. Perfectly a OK. I head the chickens Fajitas, which was ok, and my friend had the Guacamole which was OK. Ok, you get the idea :)

This place has the worst salsa I have ever had! I think they pour tomato sauce in a bowl and put it on the table. The Burritos were decent. Would not go back again!

Fresh ingredients, authentic taste to each dish and appetizers. Must have the chicken empanadas – best I’ve had in years. Nice atmosphere with music playing, outdoor as well. Also it’s in a great area, take time to walk the town, Plandome 5 minutes away.

So I came here before going to see Jurassic World and got some dinner. We ordered their spicy wings and they were very salty. The enchiladas and tacos were good. We also saw numerous people walking their dogs. It would have been ok but the dogs were extremely ugly. Just thought you should all know that.

I’ve had good meals here. It’s a nice casual restaurant, and a good place to bring kids. There is a decent amount of outdoor seating. It’s nice to have right across the street from Manorhaven park and beach. I recommend, but it’s not my favorite place for Mexican food.

We had a very nice meal here. We were 8 people, 4 adults, 1 eight year old and 3 late teens. Service was accommodating, brought plenty of chips for the kids. Appetizers were a bit small but plenty enough. They did up sell on the guac, which wasn’t necessary since most dishes came with it. From burritos to tilapia, steak and chicken fajitas, everything was very good. Pitchers of margaritas were delicious and strong enough we didn’t need to ask for more tequila. Kids said the churros were the best they ever had. It met all expectations and we will definitely go back to sit outside and have more pitchers of margaritas and fajitas.

Went there tonight, service was slow, food cold and my wife found bugs crawling in her rice. Owner had an attitude.

Went to this restaurant tonight and I was not impressed. The food was mediocre and the prices did not compared to the quality of the food. We asked for a white sangria and the waitress brought us a red sangria. When we told her about the error, she seemed annoyed. The restroom was in full view of the dining area.

We had a decent meal here, I must say the chicken fajitas were tasty, I would have never have dined at this establishment but I was in class and had some time to kill. I might go back if I’m ever in a pinch in manorhaven again,

I can’t believe what I paid for a simple meal. 16 bucks for a burrito really ?? 12 bux for a side of guacamole really ?? Small portions an not with the money this place used to have good prices but seems that they double their prices over the last year or so. Prices are like eating at a 5 star place in NYC. Not Manorhaven. Giver a break. Food was ok but not great. Ripoff

Food has really gone downhill. New menu with higher prices. I ordered the flautas, which were impossible to cut. The food barely filled the plate. The rice was a small scoop and the beans were barely a tablespoon. The amount of sour cream and guacamole on top of the shell was minimal. Presentation is clinical. We were a group of 9, we won’t be back

Decently sized restaurant, attentive service, large menu but only average food. I would probably not choose to go there on my own — only if the group at work wanted to go there…

Atmosphere is good, parking can be a pain at times. Very overpriced…$ 7 for just guacamole and no free refills on sodas. Burrito we had was mostly just rice and beans almost no meat. Definitely not worth $ 15 for a burrito. Don’t see me going there again.

Very good mexican food. This was my go-to place whenever I needed comfort food and was never judged when I’d go there to eat by myself. Skirt steak is amazing. Huge portions, good prices. Excellent service. It’s sort’ve hard to find though so you really have to look for it. They have outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
