I went to Lala for my first gel manicure and was beyond pleased. They are under new management and you can tell. The staff is friendly and the prices are average. I will definitely be going back!

LALA nails is a comfortable, welcoming salon with very friendly staff. The services are great and very reasonably priced for what you get. My favorite is the 60 minute full body massage for $ 60 from Candy or Tom(if you prefer one gender or the other). There are private rooms, calming music, and soothing auras. Being able to make an appointment last minute is something I need and LALA salon has been an extremely enjoyable experience.

Really nice place to pedicure and manicure. The music is relaxing and the place is beautiful. The owner is not nice and the offer you to updated the service again again is really annoying

I love LALA Nails. the massages and facials are what I mostly go for and they are really good at both. I love how they maintain everything really clean and whoever is in the front desk are super nice always to me. I only go to them for facial/massages.

There are pros and cons to this place for sure. The main reasons I like this place is that they are open weekends and are very clean. This place is a very modernly decorated but make no mistake it is a nail salon. The spa options don’t seem«legit». I didn’t see any licenses for their facials or massages options but I’ve gotten waxed at nail salons and they claimed to have special wax. After telling them repeatedly of sensitivity and being reassured I was still burned! I just hope it doesn’t scar. I don’t think I’ll be returning unless just for a general manicure and pedicure. I asked about prices and they were rude about it but I wasn’t shocked or offended since just moving here from Astoria. The prices are a bit high and they are trying to be high-browd but they should invest in high-end staff.

Didn’t have a chance to update my review for facial by Donna. It was as expected amazing! It had been awhile since my last facial so I expected a painful extraction session. Donna was very gentle, and not as painful as I have experienced in the past with other facialists. It’s been a few days now and I can really see a difference in how clean and moisturized my skin feels. It usually takes a few sessions to really see a difference in overall appearance. But I definitely feel like my pores are cleansed.

My experience at LaLa Nails in Port Washington. There are two reasons I get my nails done — one, pretty nails, of course. The second reason is to relax and get pampered just a bit. The only positive thing I can say about LaLa Nails is I did walk out with pretty nails. Definately NOT the other. Start with I have an old gel on my nails. the girl, soaks them like she is supposed to, then proceeds to scrape the old polish off all my toes with her own FINGERNAIL. I asked about why she was doing that and was ignored. then after the polish is off, she put those thin flip flops on my feet(I hate those, I hate anything between my toes) and makes me walk around the shop to the front, to a manicure desk. She then proceeds to put the UV light machines on the FLOOR under the desk. I asked her WHAT are you doing? she says, your pedicure… I say, Are you going to sit on the Floor? Is that NORMAL? Yes, this is how we do it. I then had to lean over to be able to see what she was doing under the desk… with little light. So… at the end, I have already decided I am NOT coming back to this establishment, NOR am I tipping this girl — I go up to the front and pay the $ 85 bill… leave and go to my car… only to have the cashier(owner?) come running out after me, FLAG down my car, to complain that I have not tipped. after a bit of discussion, I say, just to get rid of him, fine. Put $ 3 on my card. HETELLSMETHATSNOTENOUGH… DONOTGOTOLALANAILS my friends! Its WEIRD

Clean place and they usually do a good enough job, but the services are extremely rushed. The female owner is extremely rude and has a serious«I’m better than you» attitude” which is obnoxious. The male owner runs a tight ship and is sometimes rude to his workers which makes for an awkward situation. It’s definitely not the cheapest place around, but does get 3 stars for it’s cleanliness. Tips must be cash, but there is an ATM located inside. $ 30 mani/pedi, and don’t let them talk you in to a upgraded pedicure… not worth it.

Nice salon. Clean and usually crowded. Staff is generally very professional, but female owner always has an attitude(main reason I don’t go on the regular). They have individual sterilized packages for manicure/pedicure services, which are opened right before your manicure. Cleanliness is huge for me in salons, so I appreciate this. Manicurists are hit or miss– some good some bad. Massages are good, but $ 15 for 10 minutes is too much when I can go across the street for $ 10. One of the biggest pros of this place, however, is that they keep appointment times and will turn clients away if they are overbooked or too busy(this is just good business, but many salons will take anyone who walks through the door regardless). Overall, good, clean salon, but not the cheapest option around.

I love this place. There’s no better spot in town for waxing & nails — clean, friendly and I like the products they use. Also appreciated are their efforts to get rude cell-phone talkers to cut it out or keep it down in the spa area. It’s the first nail salon I’ve been to ever where I don’t feel the need to request a specific technician, I’ve been about 10 times and they are all great.

My absolute favorite nail salon. Great for spa stuff, too! When I go for the full set up, I get a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax and tinted by Michelle, and a body exfoliation. When I just go for a simple upkeep, I get a mani-pedi, and a massage with mina.

I went to Lala to get gel nails. I have gotten gel nails at other places in the past and they lasted 2 – 3 weeks which is why to me it is worth the extra money. I asked how much french gel nails were and they said $ 40 although there is an option for $ 35(different kind of polish) which I would have been just fine with had they offered it to me. I paid over $ 90 for me and my friend to get french gel nails($ 40 each plus tips) and 3 days later both of our nails have began peeling, it looks so bad I was forced to remove them(my friend too) less than a week after getting it done. A regular manicure($ 10) would have lasted me longer. I paid a lot of money and bad results. Won’t be coming back. Also they don’t accept credit cards for tips, must pay cash. Luckily I had cash on me but I usually only carry my amex which doesn’t have the ability to withdraw cash even though they have an ATM at the salon.
