Good quality Chinese food– a little bit expensive. I usually get hot and sour soup which is very delicious! Love their beef with broccoli and pork in the garlic sauce. Not big fan of the seafood specially shrimp dishes. Service is always attentive!

Very delicious and generous sized dinner portions. Our waiter was very attentive. It’s large inside, very quiet, and right by the water so you can go for a walk right after.

My husband have come here several times because the Cantonese/Szechuan food is very tasty plus they are willing to accommodate our request to make our dish extra spicy. Our favorites are the Honey Walnut chicken; the Shredded Beef Szechuan and the Chicken in Broccoli with garlic sauce. The service is fine and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty casual but nice enough(table linens and an airy, pleasant dining room) for a sit down dinner with family on a Sunday or weeknight. Their prices are reasonable, the food is consistently good, the service is good as well and the ambience is pleasant. This place is also great for quick meal on the way home from work.

The food tastes good. Assuming you actually get all of the food you ordered. No sauce for the dumplings, no noodles, duck sauce or hot mustard for the soup. Ordered a WHOLE Peking duck, no plum sauce. They forgot the spare ribs too. It took another 45 minutes to get the missing items, I live less than 10 minutes away. Not the first time they screwed up our order. But it will be the last.

This place has pretty good Chinese food. I would recommend going there. Just outside it has amazing views.

Overall pretty good. Was excited to see soup dumplings in p-dubs, but they didn’t live up to expectations. However, the other dishes were great, including the kung po chicken, pork fried rice, and side of broccoli.

Jeez, what does a person have to do to get good Chinese food in this town? I had passed by Dynasty a thousand times – seemed like a safe bet for take out on a sweltering Saturday night. Plus, a dozen Unilocalers couldn’t be wrong. Or could they? What’s wrong with you guys? My fried dumplings were leaden, oozing grease, and stuffed with a dry, tasteless meat filling. I dutifully ate two, then stopped, knowing I’d be sorry later on. Very sorry. Beef with Broccoli was so bland I had to anoint it with all three of the sauces they provided, and then sprinkle it with table salt. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Guess it’s back to the drawing board…

How have I never written a review of this place? Been here so many times for birthday parties, family get-togethers, and just formal dinners. One of my go-to places for Chinese/American food. This place is huge, located next to the ice cream place, Louie’s, and La Parma. Definitely the best out of all the other restaurants around. Very large ceilings with dragons! Typically isn’t that crowded, but there are people in there. Service, some of the friendliest people at a Chinese restaurant, ever. Despite us being somewhat regulars, coming here about once a month or two, the owners and some staff know us. They greet us and are so nice. Food: some of the best on the island. Love the beef chow fun, the sesame chicken, the pork lo mein, spare ribs, wonton soup, egg rolls, dumplings, chicken with cashew nuts, etc… Fantastic food. Everything is so delicious, the vegetables are fresh, meats are so tender and cooked perfectly, and the noodles are of a nice consistency. Plating is fine, quite pretty. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants.

After reading the favorable reviews for this local restaurant, my family decided to try it out for Sunday lunch. Before going, we called to inquire if the published(on the internet) luncheon menu was available. We were assured that it was. Upon arriving there and reading the menu, we saw that the luncheon menu was not on it. We pointed this out to the waiter who told us that the luncheon menu was not available on Sundays. I told him that I had just called and was told that it was available. The waiter then told us that the person answering the phone was wrong. I replied that since his employee gave us the wrong information, he should make the luncheon menu available to us today. The waiter shook his head, turned and rudely walked away. We left. How foolish of them. For the investment of a very few dollars of good will, they lost a potential regular customer. We will not return.

I really enjoyed my takeout from this place. The quality of the food is superior. I would give it five stars except it is a little pricey compared to other places in the neighborhood. But the food quality and the service, and the ambience are all top notch

You can always get a table in their large dining room — that’s because so many commuters get take out. But the food is consistently amazing. And when you do eat there, the owner John, is usually around and will crack jokes table side for free. Robert DiNero ate there when filming Meet The Fockers, which was shot in the area.

Definitely not your average Chinese restaurant! Situated right behind an ice cream shop, it’s an airy restaurant run by a super sweet family. I hosted a large dinner here(with 23 guests!) in the private room in the back. John was AMAZING to work with! I just gave him a price point as well as a general idea of what we like to eat, and he took care of the menu for us. And our friends are unfortunately prone to flaking out, so John gave me until a few hours before the event to give him the final guest count, which I really appreciated! I dropped off the cake and centerpieces for the tables several hours before, and the staff made sure everything was set when we arrived. The food was great, the service was spot on, and we felt like we were at a friend’s house for dinner. John kept coming by to make sure we were happy(and we were thrilled!!!), and he even brought his grandkids by to say hello near the end of our meal. I LOVE the close family touches of this establishment, and we will DEFINITELY be back! Everyone raved about the food!

Pretty standard American Chinese. No surprises, nothing special. I wish there was great Chinese in Port… :-(

The staff are really nice and the food is great. The food is more expensive than other Chinese restaurants/take-out places. However, the quality of the food is much better. I often get stomach aches after Chinese take-out but I am completely fine after eating their food. For the General Gaos, it looks and tastes like actual chicken. I recommend it. I also like the Chicken with Garlic Sauce. My favorite is the Crispy Honey Chicken with Three Nuts. The three chicken dishes that I mentioned above are the best I have had in Port Washington. The sweet and sour soup is more spicy than I am used to but it was quite good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Chicken with mango slices or the pan-fried noodles. When it comes to pan-fried noodles, I think it is always best to eat it in the restaurant instead of take-out. They have lunch specials from Monday-Friday. I forgot the time it starts but it goes until 4:00 pm. A few months ago, for the first time, I ate at the restaurant. The food was wonderful as usual and the staff were great. Food came out at a decent time and the waiter was good about re-filling our water.

Not sure why everyone seems to like this place. The food and atmosphere were average but certainly not worth what they charge. Go elsewhere for better food and a better deal.

I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints! I am notorious for having the same dish at chinese restaurants(chicken and brocolli), but I shared the subgom(?) wonton soup with my mother and she had the Ying Yang shrimp. I love their dishes and the service is excellent. I am a fan of this fine establishment and I will never tire of coming.

We got takeout from here a few nights ago, and were we pleasantly surprised… I am not a big fan of chinese food, but I found this joint to be excellent. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with garlic sauce, tasty stuff… My husband got the general Tso’s chicken, which I am normally not crazy about, but here is where I was so impressed… all white meat, big chunks of white meat, which I am not used to at a chinese restaurant. I now like General Tso’s chicken folks! And my daughter(a 3 year old, the toughest critic of all) got some chicken lo mein, sucked it down like the stuff was going out of style… I would have given the place 5 stars, but we did not eat in, so I can not speak to the service, but I am sure with the obvious care they take with the food, the service will stand up. We are always happy with Dynasty, which has been under the steady leadership of owner John Moy since it opened many years ago. The menu is fairly basic but what sets them apart is the food quality and cleanliness. We’re always impressed by the freshness of their ingredients, such as their large, bright green asparagus, thick and meaty spare ribs, and their home-made duck sauce. Service is very friendly, they greet us by name(even for take-out) and make our out-of-town guests feel welcome.
