Wonderful wines! We brought home a 2007 Sorensen Malbec and sipped Townsend Bay Point Wilson Red over our camp fire at Dosewallips. A great local place you MUST visit!

We came here after our wedding ceremony in Port Ludlow. My husband had made reservations for the 14 of us, but we didn’t end up getting there until after it was supposed to close. The man who was working there gladly stayed an hour after the cellar was supposed to close to accommodate us, and had laid out a variety of foods for us to have with our wine tastings. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and a gracious host to our large party. My husband bought a bottle of Syrah for us to have on our anniversary and the man even threw in two complimentary wine glasses. I had a great time here and look forward to going back soon!

A little hard to find, yeah, but well worth it! It’s funny that everyone wants to compare Fair Winds to Sorensen’s because they are pretty different in regards to their selection of wines and the flavor notes. Richard(I think that’s his name) was extremely personable and generous with his pours. My husband really likes the Cab Franc!

This place was seriously hard to find. The google directions were all wrong, and the signage sucked. I found it strange that they only have one white wine available, with four reds. The white was a viognier, which was nice and light. None of the reds blew me away. Also thought the pours were a little skimpy. Would I go again? Eh…

Never been here before and I was questioning the location of their wine tasting room(in the«Industrial» section of Port Townsend)… But who knows they may have some great wines??? So, I found this place amongst many similar looking buildings that looked to be used as storage or??? Wine tasting fee was $ 3, which is the same as Fairwinds that is close by. Seriously almost anywhere you go now a days, there is going to be a wine tasting fee. Customer service was good, she was friendly, but not too informative about the wines and education about wines in general. She only works there on the weekends though, so maybe just a job to raise some extra cash? She was however quite informative about some of the places in Port Townsend to eat, have a drink at that are & are not dog friendly and told me North Beach was the place to take my dog off leash(had to laugh because this took my head to San Francisco). She does have a weekend mascot for the winery, Guthrie. He’s a 7 month old brindle mixed breed pup… Which allowed for my dog to come out of the car and stretch her legs some with him. There was one wine that I did absolutely like. The Sangiovese(nuances of pie cherries, fresh cranberries showing very soft on the palate). The merlot was questionable… I could go yes or no on this one… Other than that… I don’t think I’d buy any of their wines. Different tastes might contradict my thoughts… So, it’d at least be a try once thing.

Bad location, they aren’t open year round, and the customer service wasn’t very friendly. I would much rather drive up the road to Fairwinds.
