Dr. Molly Hong delivered my, now 4-year old, daughter in 2008 and I am just now realizing that OPC has no Unilocal reviews! That just cannot be! I have 2 children, and I wouldve given anything for Molly to also have been the one to deliver my oldest. Molly was my OBGYN prior to having my last baby, and she was awesome at that as well. She has great bedside manner and is probably one of the easiest doctors to talk to. After my baby was born I also found it really easy to discuss my post-partum problems and not have to worry about her judging me. I had a pre-scheduled c-section and Molly did a great job, along with her partner Dr. Rachel Bickling, at making my incision small and less noticeable(they even fixed my prior c-section scar that was a little uneven). On another note, I do remember that Dr. Bickling was a lot more detailed than Dr. Hong. For instance, I received a call from Molly stating that I passed my glucose test. That was great news, woo hoo! But then I went in for a routine pregnancy visit and Dr. Bickling asked if Molly shared the glucose results with me. I said no, she just told me I passed. Dr. Bickling went over my results with me, and what they meant, while I still passed… it was by a small margin, so I did appreciate Dr. Bicklings details that Dr. Hong didnt share with me. The nurses at OPC I cannot really review because it was so long ago. While the front desk staff have been there for a long time, they really know what they are doing when it comes to referrals and all that. I’ve had poor nurse assistants and some really awesome nurse assistants, so I wont judge here. All I can attest to is the Physicians. Molly and Rachel were both great. I’d do it all over again with both of them if I weren’t now living way too far away.

Starting at the front desk, there’s a chill in the air. By that I mean that the receptionist is cold and unfriendly and possibly thought or gave the impression that she would rather be somewhere else or was too intelligent to work there.(We’ve all had those days but when it comes to healthcare, we know it can be a thankless job but one that you should take pride in and do your very best) How many times do you have to see a doctor or the doctor’s nurse before they stop looking at you like they’ve never seen you before? Are they over worked? Too many patients? Not only was doctor Molly Hong’s nurse, who I’d seen 5 times in recent history, clueless about who I was but she seemed uninterested in the answers that I gave to her questions. When Dr. Hong came into the room, she looked at me as if she’d just met me for the first time. As a former healthcare professional myself, a surgical scrub and ER tech/EMT/NAC/LPN… just to name a few hats I wore… I do realize how over worked and under appreciated this job can be. BUT, for two years, I complained about back and shoulder pain due to an «on the job» injury and got NOTHING. Scripts for pain meds, physical therapy, «want to see a massage therapist»? Chiropractic? Maybe you just have chronic pain… here’s a prescription for some new pain med. I insisted on an xray to which she felt it unnecessary and begrudgingly gave me anyway. As soon as the results came back, I FINALLY got some action. I just had my MRI today and have made my final appt. to fire Dr. Hong as my primary care physician. I have cervical spinal stenosis, degenerative disk disease and possibly a herniated disk and bulging disks… hmmm wonder why my back hurts so bad. In another situation earlier this year, this doctor made me wait until it looked like cancer before scheduling me for an uterine ultrasound, and then made me go looking for my own surgeon in Seattle and then to top it off… didn’t even read my chart to find out that I had a total hysterectomy when I went for a follow up visit after surgery 4 weeks post surgery. Not only does she not have a clue about her patients but she obviously doesn’t have the skill level or the gumption to find out what is going on medically with her patients. I’m thoroughly dissatisfied with her and the clinic for they’re lacksadaisy attitude and the overwhelming sense of ignorance.
