This restaurant is located in a strip mall that is mostly empty and even though it markets itself as «Asian» — — but they should probably specialize in Filipino food. Their menu is full of different dishes and we decided on Lumpiang Shanghai, Pancit Bihon, and Bistek Tagalog. Lumpia was not the short stubby type that you normally get from restaurants — — and had a good taste. When we received the pancit, at first I thought it was going to be too wet, but it was hot off the stove and served with 2 calamansi — — once we squeezed the calamansi on the noodles — — wow!!! Real good pancit. Similar can be said regarding the bistek — — squeeze some calamansi on the beef and onions & you got a lemony treat. Super friendly. Enjoy.

We have been to the restaurant 3 times and have had takeout lunch several times and it has been great every time, always great service, best sushi and sashimi, ample servings always take home leftovers. Highly recommend this restaurant, worth every penny.

After driving by this place for a month, I finally stopped in to try it. I mean, an Asian restaurant five minutes away? My kind of place! Except it’s not. I called in for delivery and was given an entirely reasonable pick up time of 20 minutes. I happened to arrive 10 minutes early, and although my order wasn’t ready, the very pleasant girl covering the phones and front area was happy to bring out my order so I could hang outside with my dog. The price was ok — $ 15 — for a spicy tuna roll and 3 pieces of unagi nigiri. Not great, not bad. But unfortunately the roll was not worth the price at all. The spicy tuna roll was not spicy. At all. It just tasted like chopped up, not terribly good tuna. In addition, the rice was overcooked and way too sticky. The unagi made up for it — it was tasty, although the pieces weren’t very big. I know I’m not in the land of delicious sushi like I used to be in Seattle, but I think I can probably do better than this in the future. Too bad…

The Thai noodle and rice dishes are delicious. And the sushi is definitely fresh and tasty. However the price can be a little more reasonable. The service has been awkward and slow every time I’ve been there. Also the waitress had me sit with another patron without asking me! How rude can you be???

We(my self alone or up to 3 others) have been going there for 4 years. If you are in a hurry skip it. Its clean, nice friendly and relaxing as I always announce hello to the diners and waitresses and state we are not in a hurry! After ordering the drinks and sipping them for 15 to 20 minutes we study and discuss the menu. I only eat cooked items and experiment amongst the many appetizers or platters that have always been wonderful. Their soups are always ever so good, ordered mild as the hot ingredients can always be added later. I witnessed a large group of animals seated together there order drinks, changing their minds several times as the waitress was writing, then eventually drinking them. Some knew what they wanted and waited many minutes explaining to others what the items were and 20– 25 minutes later finally ordered all at once. Fifteen minutes later they stated– ”its been too long we are not paying and they left. All others were aghast at their rudeness and I understand the uninformed wrote a bad review. My wife happens to be trained in the art of oriental cooking and enjoys all that we have but adds–«Do not expect to get beef dishes rare». 9÷20÷2015 Ken Broseman P. S.L. FL

I have never been to the Seaweed restaurant before and passed by it many times. I only wish I had stopped in sooner! The food was excellent and service was just as good. We tried appetizers, sushi, main course and also desert, all was excellent! The owner greeted us and made the experience so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you so much to all who had a part in making our dining experience one of the best.

We had a coupon through our enjoyment book so we decided to give it a shot. We had chicken with cashews, general tso chicken, teriyaki beef and bistek Tagalog. We also got an appetizer of tempura veggies, which was a joke because it was literally coated in panko breadcrumbs and deep fried. Panko and tempura are not the same thing. We sent it back. The food reviews were split. Soups were okay, food portions were large. The teriyaki beef was smothered in onions and nothing else. We won’t be returning. Sorry

First things first. Service was extremely slow. We were ignored and only attended to when pointed looks stared being passed. We gave our drink order and before we could give our food order(we had more then enough time to figure out what we wanted) she just left. We had to wait and wait until more looks were sent. The waitress was pulled away even though we weren’t done ordering. The employees were ignoring everyone and just talking to each other trying to figure out some issues they seemed to be having. We went brought that check becuz we were forgotten about. So we went to pay had to wait a while then paid and got the heck outta there.

Due to the holiday I called before I went to see if A) they were open and B) if they were serving lunch. The lady on the phone told me that they were open until 2:30 and serving lunch. When I arrived, I was handed a lunch menu. I decided on what I wanted and the waitress said«oh, we are not serving lunch. You will have to pick from the dinner menu.» She then handed me a dinner menu. There was no way that I was going to order 16 pieces of sashimi for only me and decided to leave. This was my first and last trip to this establishment. It would have taken very little effort to accommodate me instead of letting me walk out.

Very friendly staff, prices are a little less than other places with similar foods. The food was excellent, i have been here three times now and the food has been amazing each time. I am not a sushi lover but the eel roll is to die for, get eel sauce with it. The thai red curry truly is the best i have had in this area. The server(James) looks just like Bradley Cooper which pleases my girlfriend to the point of having dreams about him :). He is really friendly, he gave us a shot of hot saki on the house to celebrate my girlfriends son just signing up for the Army. The owner is also the chef and she comes and says hi and is very friendly The reviewer who rudely asked why the 5 star raters have only left one review has to understand that most people only review places when they have had a good time, and there arent many good restaurants to rave about around here. I dont know the owners or staff personally and i dont work there. They just make great food! They are in the same plaza as tc auctions and we now have made it a ritual of seaweed sushi and the auctions, makes for a great night P. s. You can get coupons for this place and the food is very reasonably priced too, the haters will hate regardless

Their sushi rolls are fantastic… If I ever want sushi, I am definitely ordering from them. Wonderful presentation… all the flavors work together and make me want more. Great deals when you order two or three rolls as well. Brought a friend there and they ordered the curry and the rice was in a separate container instead of with the curry. A little weird. My friend and I were looking at the online menu and wanted to order something off there that wasn’t on the physical menu and we were told that the online menu is not updated? Seems like it would be easier to update an online menu than a physical menu but that’s alright. It’s a really nice place. I will definitely visit again.

if you can get past th smell and the sticky tables you are good. The sushi is amazing ! everything is made fresh and right when you place your order, which could take a little longer but is worth the wait, just don’t look around to much. Very good sushi!

Our first time here, was not happy about the experienced. The chicken hibachi was good, however everything we tried to order there was an issue. The General Tso did not come with fried rice, only white or brown for about $ 11. The garlic chicken had no flavor, and came with white, sticky rice. There was not alot of flavor in anything we all ordered. Sushi tasted like what you’d buy at Publix. I had a bogo coupon, ordered two meals, a water and a tea, small order of sushi… with the bogo coupon our total was still $ 25– ATLUNCHYIKES! Needless to say, I can find chicken hibachi all day long that tastes alot better and not so over-priced, I won’t be back. Should’ve known since there aren’t any check-in regulars!

Run. run as fast as you can in the opposite direction! I bought a Groupon for this restaurant after reading such great reviews online. I have to say it was truly disappointing. I am a snob when it comes to sushi and I think we all should be. Getting bad fish could really make you sick. My fiancé and I went to have dinner together after work. I was so excited when we arrived. They even had Kirin beer on tap which was the best part. However, they A/C was OFF so it was extremely uncomfortable. In the Florida heat, if you don’t have A/C, you’re totally done for. Anyways, when the waitress brought out our Sashimi it was so warm. It, the sashimi, was perspiring. I KIDYOUNOT. I took two bites and asked for my check. I didn’t want to cause a scene but It was the worst food I’ve had in a long, long, time. Sorry Seaweed, I wish I really enjoyed the food but some things are just unforgivable.

Filipino, Thai, Japanese & Chinese cuisine. Dined there on April 15th. Had a Thai dish — Chicken Pad Woonsen. I’ve had this dish at a couple of other Thai places, it’s kind of becoming my favorite, so I was curious how it would be here. I was not disappointed. First off, the service was excellent, even though our entrees were a bit slow coming out because they were pretty busy. We still felt well taken care of. With the serving of four different types of cuisine, the menu is pretty extensive. Starting with a salad, mine was just«ok». The lettuce leaves were from the large, older outside of the plant and a bit tough. My appetizer was Filipino spring rolls containing beef, pork and vegetables. They were nicely fried and quite delicious, served with a tasty sauce. The Pad Woonsen was a generous portion and really very good. I would definitely go back for that dish alone. Overall the experience was very nice and worth the price. I would recommend Seaweed to anyone who asked. We will be back.

I wrote a review. It was not positive. The service was horrible. The food a salt bomb. I note that my review was not posted. that is baloney! Why bother to allow only good reviews. That is not a true picture of the restaurant. When I arrived there were two empty tables and I still waited over 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated I was not given a menu. My friend and I waiting at least 15 minutes and finally got up and got a menu. My friend’s dinner came out a full 20 minutes before my dinner. We had to get up and get napkins and cutlery from the hostess. My food, a beef plate, altho tender and well presented was a salt bomb. My meal came with a spring roll which I had to ask the waitress for twice. I had a discount coupon for dinner from local dines and it was rejected. Will not be going back. I returned the certificate to local dines. I might add, I am a repeat customer. I have always ordered the sushi and enjoyed it. The cooked thai food was a different story.

I had the garlic honey chicken. The rice was hard and crunchy in spots and mushy in others. The honey sauce was a lake of cold honey all over my somewhat warm fried chicken parts. Was it chicken breast pieces that I had? Not likely, unless the breast has gristle and tendons in it. Just plain awful. The chef needs to be fired immediately. Even if the main chef was off that day, how do you serve that garbage? There is a concept called quality control, look into it. The Eggroll was obviously brought in frozen and very greasy. Here’s a tip for the chef, make sure your oil is hot enough so that whatever you are cooking fries and seals in the juices instead of absorbing oil. DON’T GO. Can I give them –2 stars? In summary, cheap, brought in frozen food poorly prepared and served in a dirty restaurant. P. S. I like how a few of the 4 or 5 star reviews only reviewed this restaurant… Seems fishy…

Cute and petite authentic Asian restaurant in Port Saint Lucie. They have great Filipino and Thai dishes but sushi is greatly lacking. Great for a group of friends. Waiter is friendly, honest, and has a fantastic personality. Affordable prices and great things on the menu(even gluten free!) if you are familiar with Filipino and Thai food. If not, bring a friend who is familiar with the culture and food!
