Ristorante Pizzaria Lombardi – Sun of Tuscany

Very clean dining room. (Nice to go to a place with clean shakers) Service was attentive and pleasant. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. Pizza had fresh toppings and a pleasantly light and crispy crust (although a bit bland). For the price, I would have hoped to see more cheese on the pizza. All in all a good experience.

I dont know how this place has 4 stars…
we ordered Fried Calamari… it was so salty that we had to take off the breading… not to mention that the sauce was salty too!
i got chicken parm which was equally as bad! the chicken had the same breading as the calamari and the sauce was the same SALTY one…
i am not one to leave food on my plate but i couldnt even force myself to eat it!
I guess it could have been an off night but if your not a fan of salt this isnt the place for you!

Great authentic Italian food. Walking in, you will be transported to Italy. A great variety of dishes so this is more then a pizza place.
This is a small restaurant that is a little hard to find. Worth the trip.

I don’t get it… these rave reviews have me baffled. I just ate at Lombardi’s for the third and last time. First time we had pizza, which was so overloaded with cheese it grossed me out. A few months, after our neighbor raving about it, we went again, and I had the eggplant parm. It tasted good, but was so overcooked it was mushy. I had the house salad which was fine. Tonight I was craving chicken parm, so we thought we’d go there because it’s close to our house. I asked for caesar salad because everybody raved about it. A $ 2 upcharge and no bread with it. It was fair, nothing to rave about, but not horrible. I asked for a light amount of sauce on my parm, because I’d rather add it if needed than have my meal swimming in it. I mentioned that as I ordered and the waitress was agreeable. Our meals came, the amount of sauce was what I had asked for, but as I ate, I realized it needed a bit more. I asked for a small side, maybe a ladle full. No problem. The sauce is quite good. The chicken was thick and should have been pounded thinner, because the edges became very hard and crunchy in order to cook the chicken thoroughly.
The BIG surprise and thing that most annoyed me. When we got the bill, there was a charge for the «extra sauce». Seriously? I didn’t get any more sauce than if I had taken it as they normally prepare it. $ 1.50 for 2 ounces of sauce is ridiculous. Especially since nobody mentioned an additional charge when I asked for it. When I mentioned my displeasure to the waiter, he merely said… «she makes us do it» and nodded toward the owner. Sorry, it’s just wrong. For that alone, I will never return and will make sure everybody is aware of this ridiculous policy!

At dinner we are attempting to try everything on the menu once — but it’s difficult because so often the ‘specials’ lure us into trying new and exciting things!
The soups and sandwiches served at lunch time are really delicious also.
The pizza pies — so crisp and tasty. Amazing.
And… the owners and wait staff make you feel like family.
You OWE it to yourself to be this spoiled!

Stopped in by chance today as I was in the area visiting family. Super friendly staff. Amazing owner. Authentic Italian. Very proud of their food and business. Had the best pizza and lemonchello cake. Cannot wait to go back. highly highly recommend.

We ate here last Thursday. We had one of the best pizzas ever. The crust was light and airy. The ingredients were fresh. Try the spec, arugula and mascarpone pizza.

Pizza is great! Stopped in for a quick lunch, and that’s what we got! Ordered the 4 way pizza… It was with artichokes, black olives, ham and mushrooms. It was nice because instead of the usual toppings all on top of each other, each topping was on a quarter of the pizza, so it was like 4 different pizzas in one. The crust was crunchy and perfectly cooked, and the sauce was very good! The server was very nice and attentive, even brought over a small side table to put our pizza on since the table we chose was a little small. We will go back!

Let me preface my review by saying… the best pizza I have ever had is Tavola Pizza in Port St Lucie. I grew up in Boca Raton and never thought the best pizza would be found in PSL. Tavola is closed until Thursday so I thought I would venture out and try a new pizza place. Not so much. Tavola uses Grande Cheese. Love it. This place used a rather greasy cheese. Also, the crust could use major improvement. Hate to say this but it tasted like a Communion wafer. The customer service was very good. I couldn’t find an online menu so I uploaded the menu to Unilocal for everyone. I will not be returning as I am faithful to my favorite pizza spot. I wish them the best of luck as they are in a prime location.

This is my second visit and was not disappointed. The food is great. The service also great. They make you feel welcome. The food is made from scratch not institutional. The Lasagna is delicious. Tonight, I had the spaghetti & meatballs. The meatballs was made with veal and was very good. This place is going to be one of my regular places to eat. The incredible large portions assures you won’t leave hungry.

This place is amazing, authentic Italian food! The caprese pasta melts in your mouth, and the tiramisu is huge! Worth every dime! A warm and inviting atmosphere!

Love the subs and pizza. Talk about Italian? Great job on the food. Love it.

The reviews on the other websites are correct — this is a great authentic tuscan restaurant. You can hear them speaking Italian in the kitchen! My wife and I at dinner (without wine or dessert) and it cost $ 40 for the both of us, before tip.
