I do not recommend this company. They are the only plumbing company in the area that charges for an estimate. Said they would waive the charge, but only if you hire them for the work. Their prices are very high, much higher than the next estimate (by over $ 700), and then they try to sell you on a «Club Membership» to save 15% on the work. However, the club membership costs more than the discount. Bottom line… don’t use this company.

My parents live in North Palm and due to increased water bills were suspicious that they had a water leak somewhere in their foundation. We were referred to Miranda Plumbing by a neighbor and I was extremely pleased with the quality and speed of their service. My parents haven’t been in the area very long so they asked me to help handle the situation; even at a distance I was very pleased with how this issue was handled. Their staff was extremely courteous on the phone, and was quick and punctual with getting to the house and finding the leak. Instead of quoting and billing me with digging up pipes and replacing, they offered to use a pipe liner with epoxy coating; this option worked wonderfully and saved us a ton of time and money. These guys get my strongest recommendation, 5 stars!

I called miranda plumbing for a problem with my water heater. Their add said $ 69.00 + repair. I scheduled a service call for the next day.
The next day the serviceman showed up within the scheduled time frame. He was very courteous and professional. My problem is not with him but the the highway robbers he works for.
I explained the problem to the serviceman and he said he thought the relief valve was bad. This conversation took all of about 30 seconds.
Normally a service call includes the first hour of figuring out what the problem is and then begin to address the problem. After that the rate usually reverts to a lower more reasonable rate. (That is why the first hour rate is at a premium).
HERE’S THE RUB :
The plumber shows up with a huge truck with supplies that a good reputable plumbing company SHOULD HAVE. Guess what, he doesn’t have a $ 15.00 part and has to wait for somene to deliver the part which took more time (don’t forget I’m on the clock).
The repair took one hour start to finish.
The repair man handed me a bill for $ 259.00. When I questioned the bill, he said it was $ 69.00 to look at it and tell me he THOUGHT that it was a releif valve and it was $ 190.00 to replace the valve.
SO, ONE HOUR OF A PLUMBER DOING WORK WAS APPROXIMATELY $$$$$$$
