This place is great, takes forever tho. The lines are always out the door. Guess they must be doing something right

They’ve gotten my order wrong a few times(as in I hate sugar in my coffee and I make sure to say that, but I still get it in my coffee anyway). But beware of going during rush hour, because you’ll be in the drive-through for a long time!

The famous Dunkin’ Donuts. After arriving in Florida, I started seeing Dunkin Donuts everywhere. Considering the hype it has received, I knew I had to stop by one. During my visit, I tried their coffee, turkey sausage flat bread, and cronut. The coffee is definitely better than your average cup of joe. Was it the best? No. I can’t drink straight black coffee, so I had to request cream and sugar. Typically at Starbucks or Coffee Bean, you are in control with how much creamer and sugar goes into your coffee so I was surprised when I received my coffee it already came with creamer. So be advised if you like a small amount of creamer, you should let your server know. They also serve hot chocolate(which I have to come back for!), cappuccino, lattes, and hot teas. I’m so glad that Dunkin’ Donuts serves other types of food than just donuts. Before hitting the road for a small road trip, I opted to grab a quick breakfast. I decided on the turkey sausage flat bread. It’s definitely not calorie heavy like your typical breakfast sandwich at a fast food chain. The flat bread was quite delicious and kept me full for the rest of the morning. They also serve other flatbreads as well as breakfast and bagel sandwiches. Time to satisfy my sweet tooth! For those who don’t know what a cronut is, it’s a mix between a croissant and a donut. The cronut is glazed on the outside and very densed(too densed) inside. I shared this with my boyfriend and I’m glad I did. Overall I was happy with my first experience at Dunkin’ Donuts, but I do prefer the ma and pop donut shops more. I was a bit disappointed that Dunkin Donuts doesn’t have a bigger selection of donuts(maybe it was just at the particular location that I went to). Side note: They call their donut holes, MUNCHKINS!

Line is horrible. Not worth the wait unless you don’t care about losing a half hour off your trip.

Normal Rest Stop– Dunkin Donuts. Great Mid-way(miami to orlando/vice versa) stop point. Lines here do tend to always be long, morning, nooon, and night, everybody needs their sugar rush or caffeine rush for the road, if you are in a rush though do not join the line, as it does move a turle-like pace. I have been Purchasing donuts at this DD for 20 plus years now, and its the one food spot at this rest stop that hasnt changed named and is still here. If it aint broke, dont fix it !

Your typical DD in a small space inside the rest stop. The line is always long and usually does not move quickly. There aren’t any really great food choices here which leads to the popularity of DD here. Sometimes they don’t have as many options in terms of muffins and donuts especially later in the evening. Even though the service is slow, since there are so many people in line, it feels rushed. If you are in a hurry, you might want to get coffee at a different vendor even though it is not as good. The line is not only very long, it is also very smooshed. Be prepared to get comfortable and make friends with the people in front and behind you. The people in this line have no idea what personal space is and must believe that if they leave any space between them and the person in front that someone else might come and steal their spot– or if the place closes that they will be shut out. I have never experienced being in the line already and being told that the the show was over and they were closing for the night. Usually they wait until everyone in line already has been served, close the line with the dividers and then start telling new potential customers that they will open again tomorrow. Which always makes me crack a smile, but these stops are usually full of vacationers who will not be back for months if ever.
