I reserved a room and had to cancel 24 hours later, the day of the reservation. When I was originally booking the room the day before, I was never informed of a cancelation fee or policy and was told my card would only be put on file for incidentals. When trying to cancel my reservation day-of before our check-in time, the manager indicated you must cancel your reservation 24 hours in advance, but we were never told that when we booked the hotel the day before(24 hours before), so she charged my credit card for the entire night’s stay. There is nothing on the website about a cancelation policy. When trying to dispute this, she was argumentative, jumbled, and going back and forth on her«policies» throughout the entire conversation, which is alarming and unprofessional. When I asked et for her name, she told me it is Kay, refused to give her last name, and rudely hung up on me. Luckily this terrible motel did not get my money because my bank is awesome. This establishment deserves less than half a star but Unilocal does not let me.
