Currently this store is in its liquidation phase of closing. Everything is discounted, but not at the lowest price yet. I just went to get a new golf bag. I also got a glove, golf cleats, some balls, my husband got a pair of new under armor shoes and we only spent $ 198. If you need athletic gear now is the time to visit here! Just cause they are closing their employees haven’t lost their customer service. Everyone was eager to assist. At the register my husband saw the under armor shoes being priced and tagged. He was so nice he let him try them on right there.

Sports Authority has the best Black Friday deal around. A free gift card worth between $ 10 – 500 for the first 85 people standing in line. They also are very generous with the $ 10 off gift cards in their mailings and if you make a large purchase. My father in law bought something for like $ 250 and they gave him a $ 50 gift card that can be used the next month. How can you beat that? I just wish they had a wide selection of fan apparel, especially more USF Bulls.

Sports Authority is where I go as a last resort. I have always found that the customer service was lacking, the prices are high and the selection limited. I also hate the way the store is organized, if you can call it that. The center is a sea of clothes that are jumbled and loosely clustered by sport? Brand? Who knows. I MUCH prefer shopping at a specialty store where the staff is knowledgeable and take their time helping you. You might pay a little more but if you need, say, fitting for running shoes you can’t beat that kind of attention. If you already know what you want and found the best price at Sports Authority then go for it.
