Mile Hill Shell

Very convenient location and is the closest gas station to my house. Hours of operation are fairly late (1am most days) which helps me due to my odd work hours. THe staff always seems pretty friendly, and Tanya is always nice to us. Price point is not the cheapest, but gas stations always have higher prices than somewhere like Walmart. I’m happy to pay a little extra for the convenience.

This Shell is my favorite gas station of the area. It is most convenient to Manchester, enabling one to go south via backroads; thus, skipping all stop lights and avoiding local traffic. Prices are average (e.g. Found them today as 5 cents more than the 76 on Bay St, yet 5 cents less then 76 off freeway). They also carry Diesel, though just 1 pump bay which is farthest from mini-​mart. Watch cars that can park along perimeter of station, as they can make it difficult for large diesel pickups to navigate. Not a good diesel pump location for a large motor-​home or fifth wheel. Employees vary in skills and ability to serve. Most are pleasant enough. I have not tried the Subway located within the mini-​mart.

Convenient spot to fill up the tank around Southworth and Manchester, but seems pretty expensive for Kitsap county gas, same price as within Seattle city limits which has all the added city taxes. Nice little convenience store here as well if you need to grab something quickly, and usually never a line at the pumps.
