Knowing we were going to be in Daytona, I googled surf schools in the area and picked Pure Life because it was within a mile of our condo. I couldn’t be more pleased. I signed my 15 y/​o son for a two hour private lesson. He was catching waves before the first 30 mins were up. LJ could not have been nicer to us and my son had a great time. Highly recommended!

This by far the best surf camp around! The staff is super friendly and works with the kids great! They have a great one on one time with the kids. They also have have other activities such as paddle boarding! I love this camp so much!

I had a great experience over Christmas break surfing with Pure Life! The instructor was energetic and enthusiastic about sharing his love for the sport. We had a blast! I can’t wait to hit the waves again soon.

Last week I took a surfing lesson with LJ while on a vacation in Daytona and it was without a doubt the highlight of the trip! He is extremely personable and encouraging which is fantastic, especially if you were a beginner as I was. As a 20 year old I also had some concerns that the lessons were directed for a younger learner but that is not at all the case. They really cater the lesson to you so no matter how old, or coordinated, you are you will have a blast! Strongly recommend going here for a fun day in Daytona!

Our kids took private lessons from LJ in June 2014 and it was just fantastic in every regard. LJ and his friend were both very professional, they both had tons of personal experience to share, and they were great teachers.

I’ve worked with 3 different instructors so far and they’ve all been patient and helpful — they made it a blast for me and my family.
If you’re in the area and looking to ride the waves, but you don’t have any experience, go to Pure Life Surf School — they’ll put you on some waves in a hurry.
