The food was just ok, not great. I had blackened grouper with shrimp. My side dish spinach an d mushrooms. My fish and shrimp had no carmelization, not much flavor. Spinach and mushrooms with a piece of melted cheese on top, like rubber. That was enough for me.

Came here to celebrate my parents birthday and we were really surprised. We came on a Monday and they offer their early bird all day till close. $ 3.99 glasses of house wine and 10.99 sirloin entrees. The service was GREAT and the food value was awesome. We got the mushroom app which was tasty and very shareable for 4 adults. We ordered 3 sirloin del rays which were good for the price. The meat was a bit tough but for $ 10.99 with a side and salad I was pleased. The ambiance is grey for a romantic dinner or special dinner. For dessert we got cremé brûlée and key lime pie. Both were outstanding and delicious. We will definitely be coming back! SERVICE was really nice. Bravo to the manager.

Really good food at a really reasonable price. This place had a ton of options. We went in on a Sunday and they had brunch menu which was a nice change. The service left much to be desired. Refills had to be requested as well as the dessert menu and check. I had the steak and mushrooms on the English muffin. The English muffin was a bit too toasted the poached egg was over cooked and the mushrooms were scarce but for the value it was pretty good. You can tell that it was made fresh. The home fries were very good. My partner had the waffle with two eggs and 2 sausage patties. That dish didn’t come with a side so we ordered fruit. The fruit was impressive all of it was ripe with a nice variety not that colorless melon and cantaloupe that places usually serve. We also had the strawberry shortcake dessert and it was very tasty and a nice finish to our meal without being too heavy. 2 entrees, a side of fruit, dessert and a soda was in the $ 30 ball park. Good value for dollar. It was a gorgeous day but for some reason all the blinds were shut which made it look a bit dreary. We will likely be returning to eat lunch or dinner. Worth a visit.

Literally the BEST restaurant around! We drive from Titusville for the food here… truly a from scratch kitchen with an exceptional menu. Our waitress Megan was so wonderful and played along with all of our jokes. I can’t express in words what a pleasure it is to dine here.

The appetizer sampler was good — had fried asparagus, calamari and friend shrimp. It was plenty for the table. The house salad with ranch and the Mahi were good as well. It’s a smaller restaurant but nicely designed and even had a small private group room. Convenient location and nice outdoor play area for the kids if you have to wait or for fun before or after dinner.

I’m gonna come back here just for the baked brie. Holy moly… I mean, I love cheese, and this, I died from happiness a little bit. Paired with a crusty bread, apple slices and grapes, it was sort of a dessert and an appetizer all at once. I got the clam chowder and my dad got the french onion for soups. Both were equally good, the clam wasn’t too sweet or too milky and had nice chunks of vegetables and clam. The french onion was loaded with onions, pumpernickel bread chunks, and then generously topped with melted provolone. For dinner, I had the New Orleans pasta which had great meats, well cooked pasta, but the sauce fell a little flat. Not enough heat to call it a cajun cream sauce, not enough cheese to call it an alfredo. Dad had the appetizer trio as his meal and the star of that plate was the calamari. Very tender and paired well with the chili sauce. Atmosphere was nice, classy but casual, nice quiet evening. Waiter was super attentive and very nice and personable. We’ll definitely be back, even if it’s just for a brie fix.

I was at Malibu for NYE in 2015, no, the REAL Malibu. Yes the one with an ocean, the one where you casually drive by $ 15 million homes along the beach, the one with Nobu which has $ 30 per ounce of steak(which freaked out my friend when his girlfriend asked him to take her there). I love the real Malibu, I visit pretty often but on December 21st, I was in Daytona Beach. The real Malibu being 2,000+ miles away, we decided to visit the next best place, Malibu grill. I have been told out of the three restaurants paying homage to California(San Diego, Monterey and Malibu), Malibu Grill is the best one. So as always, I had high expectations when I went. First off, I liked the setting, it was very dark and close knit. I had the ribeye with the mashed potatoes. The filet mignon was good(thankfully not $ 30 an ounce) and the creamy mashed potatoes killed it. Everyone else had fish and salad which they all seemed to enjoy. My appetizer was the shrimp which I enjoyed. Overall, Malibu is a solid four stars and slightly edges out Monterey(as it is in real life) to be the best of the three.

The atmosphere in here was nice with a touch of class. The serving staff were very nice and friendly. The menu had fantastic choice so we chose the bang bang shrimp and the baked goats cheese to start. They were good but not fantastic. The goats cheese had good flavour but the marinara sauce with it made it taste a little low quality. The bang bang shrimp was good for I’ve had better. The bread between courses was very average and what you’d expect was bought in and taken out a packet and heated up. For entrees we got the ribeye and the chicken sandwich. The ribeye and garlic butter with it were good, the sautéed spinach would’ve been ok but was ruined by the plastic like cheese on top of it. The chicken sandwich was good apart from the avocado in it which was largely brown in colour instead of green. Although I write a lot of points to note, the meal was ok for a place that you only expect average from instead and if I wanted a fairly cheap and chilled meal with friends I’d come back.

My boyfriend and I went to Malibu grill last night for dinner. Our waiter Adam was wonderful very attentive and professional, décor is just beautiful. Now the food I had the fillet and my boyfriend the Newport salmon both delicious.
