Giuseppe’s Steel City Pizza

Decent tasting pizza, but the servers are self centered and some are down right rude. Never was this way when mama (Angie) was in charge. Her managers need to take charge and get the servers to do a better job. How can they let an entire table run out of sodas. Won’t be back for at least 6 months or maybe not ever.

I haven’t had them in a while but use to LOVE their greek salad. Not so much this time. I only get the meat and feta cheese on it. I don’t know if they changed their dressing but the salad was yuck. The only good thing about was the shredded lettuce and the feta cheese. Plus the woman that my company spoke with to place the order was extremely rude. Heaven forbid you have to take an order and then add to it. The garlic knots were better than my salad and I was not really impressed with those either. you guys use to be an awesome place to eat but at this point I don’t think I’ll go there ever again let alone send any families from their that are looking for a place to get a good bite to eat. I will go to the extreme as to say I’d rather have Pizza Hut!

What happened to the steel city? And since when do customers. who order take out get cold and old pizza??? We ordered the steak Pizza which used to be my absolute favorite. Before we went to pick the pizza up, we were told that the pizzas would be ready in 30 minutes. We left early and my husband went in to get the pizzas but he did not come out for a while. Apparently the person in the front went to check on the pizza and we magically received the Steak pizza. I thought it was strange that the box was colder than usual but the other box was kind of warm. However, once we got home I noticed that the steak pizza was not at all what it used to be. The cheese was stiff, hard, and the toppings were skimpy, and it looked like it was left over from lunch at a Chinese buffet. The pizza also looked like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. From now on the only place that begins with a G in this area thst we will be ordering from is Gabby’s .Patrons, be sure to check your boxes or you too will be wasting your $ 37.00 and might as well buy a pizza from the frozen food section. It just might have more toppings and most importantly be freshly made and hot. BIG Dissatisfaction!!!

The pizza was really good. And try the meatball sub as appy. The homemade sauce and meatballs were scrumptious. And yes ask for Mindy but the other servers were just as sweet.

Was super excited to order seeing how Unilocal says they close in 45 minutes at 11pm and call to have them say they are closed at 10:18pm. Wtf!?!

Word to the Wise. This only applies to take out orders by the slice. I would advise Giuseppe’s to discontinue offering this product. It’s not helping you. Basically they have a cooked cheese pizza available for slices. If you want toppings they simply take the same toppings used for full pizzas and sprinkle them on top of the cheese pizza. then hand it to you I ordered green pepper and mushrooms. If i were to pick up the slice with out keeping it horizontally level, the toppings would have fallen off the pizza. the peppers were raw and the mushrooms were previously cooked. Don’t offer slices if you are not willing to keep whole pizzas warm and ready to eat. that’s what they do in the airports and it’s much better than what they have. based on some recent reviews, Not sure i want to go back for a whole pizza.

After years of ordering I quit! The management sucks, the people who answer the phones suck, and your only saving grace is your drivers. Never forget New Years when we walked in and someone was puking at your front door. Truth be told pack up your trailer and head north. You forget the locals when your coal mining brethren come to town. About time you got «Stepped On». Hope your manager ate it. Never Again!!!

Can’t live without their pizza. My husband is addicted to their cheese steaks & chicken parm. Great food & prices!

When they say hot sausage, they mean really hot. Be sure to order the crust crisp… mine was nearly raw!

Hands down the best place for wings, pizza, salads and believe it or not French fries! We took our son who was visiting and he insisted I do a review. It is an over all awesome place. I am not a steelers fan but still got great service!

LOVED this place! Went there and a Steelers game was just about to start, which was super cool because we got to see what the soul of this place is all about.
Food was great, and so was the staff. Really, really friendly staff and clientele. Seriously.
Unbelievable experience, DO NOT pass them by if you’re in the area.

This place should be shut down by the health inspector. I was once employed here as a dishwasher. When I looked at the sink I asked the person training me «where is the water to clean the dishes» he then pointed to a small cup of water. I thought he was kidding but he was serious. There were roaches and dirty dishes everywhere. If you value your health do not eat here!

We will never, ever go back! This was the third and final time we have been severely disappointed. We have been here many times over the last 6 years since we moved to Florida. The service is terrible. Today we waited 1 hour for food which never came! It took 10 minutes to get our drinks. Our pizza showed up 15 minutes before the rest of our party of 8 food and we decided to leave. It was horrible! Bland, soggy crust, hardly any cheese. Our teenagers took one bite and refused to eat more. They were starving after church. We all literally got up, told our waitress we were done waiting, and left paying nothing. My wife is a Pittsburgh native and we really wanted to like this place and keep giving it a try. DONE!

We stopped in while on vacation and it was excellent. We had pizza and wings. The meatballs on the pizza were awesome, good sauce and crust. The wings were tasty too. If you are a football fan the place is cool to see and the staff is friendly. The place was packed so others must like it too!!!

I have been a regular at Giuseppe’s for several years now. Not quite sure why I am just now writing a review!
The food — great! Lots of choices at a very affordable price. I’m convinced Giuseppe’s has the best local pizza in town! Almost all the time (aside from Friday and Saturday nights I believe) they have pizza by the slice! It’s a fantastic deal and my go-​to meal. I am also a fan of the sandwiches, especially the meatball parm sub! So delicious!
The atmosphere — inside is a mix of tables and booths! Go for a booth! Lots of them are round and fun and create for a good time with friends or family! I don’t really care about football but if you’re a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, you’ll be in heaven.
The service — ask for Mindy! She’s the best. As I said, I’ve been visiting Giuseppe’s for many years and she was my first waitress! I try to only eat when she’s working. It’s one of those situations where you know you’re gonna get consistently good service and feel like your business is genuinely appreciated! I can’t say any more good things about her!
Overall, 5 stars! Good food, good atmosphere, good service! It’s what you need in Daytona. Oh yea… they have $ 1.50 Rolling Rock. All day. Every day. Go for it!

Got seated right away on a Friday night at 5:30 PM. They were busy. Food was awesome. Garlic knots were out of this world. We loved the extreme cheese steak sandwich. Our waitress was wonderful. She brought refills before we could ask for them, but she seemed too busy. The food took a long time to come out. People who were seated after us had pizza before we were served. Guess we should have ordered pizza… it did look good and so did the wings. Slow service seems to be a common theme on Unilocal for this restaurant. Go early or carry out. Of, course you’ll miss out on all the Pittsburgh and car items. There is a very small game room across from the girls restroom to help keep the kidos busy.

Service was poor. We waited way too long for our food, and it wasn’t worth the wait. I had fish basket and it was just ok we also had chicken fingers (burnt) the fries were just ok. Wouldn’t recommend that anybody eat there. However the pizza did look good.

The food is amazing. HOWEVER. My party and I all agreed that the service was absolutely terrible. I came with a group of friends for the Volkswagen show and there were apparently specials our server never mentioned. Nor did she crack a smile, say thank you. nothing. It was horribleeeeeeeeeeee. She didn’t even introduce herself so I have no idea what her name was. I would rather the kitchen staff bring my food to my table. You guys need some better service. Especially if there is a big event going on with the opportunity to actually have a high dollar night. (Btw we had the same experience last year.)

5 stars because its a Steeler bar! The pizza is good, but this is a great place to watch the Steelers!
