Cheryl’s Place

I was directed here by some of the guys in the gated community I just moved into.
I had the same barber for over 18 years in Ohio and had to start all over again. I was hesitant at first. Never had a woman cut my hair.
This lady is excellent. I could not be happier, just wish she took appointments, but I find that very few barbers take appointments here in Port Orange.
I can now go in, sit down, and she knows what to do and the price $ 12 is easy to take. Life is good again.

Cheryl is wonderful! It was my nephew’s first haircut. He was scared and dreading it all day. They had a talk about his light up shoes, superheroes, stickers, pirates, and he plopped himself on the chair. No fight no fuss. He hates strangers. She was great with him! He left with a toy from the chest, and later that afternoon wanted to get another haircut.

Cheryl’s Place does cuts for men and boys for $ 12. I took my two year old son there. We walked in (no appointment necessary), she took us right away, and got to it. We were in and out in 15 minutes or less. She gave him a toy, a lollipop, and a snack. He was ready to stay in the shop with his snack and watch The Polar Express, which was playing on the tv in the shop. It was quick, easy, and pleasant. A huge recommendation for a place to get a toddler or young boy’s hair cut!
